I don't know what you mean.

If you want the theme at another position, just drag it there.

Either press "toggle locked position" in the superkaramba contextmenu. And then drag the theme to its new position. After it you have to press "toggle locked position" again so you can single click on the theme.
Or if you have standard KDE-settings you can just hold down ALT and drag with the left mouse button.

When you restart superkaramba your theme will be on its new position. There is no more need to change anything in the *theme file. And the themerc files are not really meant to be edited by hand.

When you close a theme sk writes the current position of the theme to its themerc file. So if you have manually edited it while your theme is open, it will be overwritten. - May 31 2003
Kroller

It's great someone :-) finally found the solution to this strange error.

The right place for this is src/Makefile.am:

Add -Wl,-export-dynamic to the line starting with
superkaramba_LDFLAGS =

Or better use the y coordinate you get by calling getWidgetPosition(widget). - May 20 2003

All you need to do is to drag the widget to the position you want it (you may need to uncheck "Toggle locked position" in the menu) and it will stay there.

Since v0.25 there is no more need to manually enter the coordinates into the *.theme file. - May 20 2003

It is difficult to find the solution to a problem one cannot reproduce.

For now you can try to edit the kroller.py file.

Comment out the import time statment at line 29. (change it to ...#, time)

Then you also have to remove all calls to functions provided by time:

comment out the lines (# at beginning of line):
165-181,556,557

You will loose the icon-bouncing effect, and the maxFPS setting, but if the time module is the only problem it should work. - May 11 2003

The error means the python interpreter cannot load the "time"-module.

You can not blame the theme for the error, since it is a standard module of python2.2.

You can try to open python itself and type:
import time

If you then get no error, the fault lies anywhere else, but if you do your python installation is screwed up, and you should
blame redhat.

Karamba Eyes

Actually it does less then xeyes since you cannot resize it. And of course it uses much
more CPU-time then the original.

Since xeyes was probably the very first X-Window eye candy, I thought Superkaramba
needed a version. Maybe I'm just too nostalgic.

My Distribution does not include xeyes anymore, and I learned writing Python Extensions
while creating it, so for me it was useful.

I plan to add easy themeing to it, but this has not a high priority since I,ve started working
on superkaramba itself, which probably is more useful.

But if I had not needed the getWidgetPosition API-Function for karamba eyes, I probably
would never had started to contribute to SuperKaramba.

And btw, nobody needs to use this. - May 08 2003

A Function which returns the position of
the widget.

I already sent you a patch yesterday. - May 05 2003
