Hi.

First of all - great work!
I was only a bit confused by your directory structure. Why don't you make it just like that:

~.icons/default/index.theme
~.icons/reddot/cursors/

and put in the index.theme:
Inherits=reddot

Now you can change the theme by just editing the inex.theme. I think 'reddot' describes this theme more or less very clearly ;) and my directory structure is orientated to the one of /usr/share/icons, so that I can change the theme by just editing my index.theme.
