I can work with the calendars, but they are dark text on a light background, when they should be light text on a dark background. Also, the small calendar in the side panel has some white text where it should be black (month, year, and widgets at the top). - Dec 13 2011
Great fix... Before, I couldn't use this comment box because the text was white. Now, if Thunderbird Lightning would only get its dark theme calendar widgets fixed. It's a bug, and has been one for quite some time... Pulls colors from wrong place. - Dec 13 2011

Can you think of any reason why the panel font size is tiny, and the application icons are very small? (Tried in both .themes and themes>) - Dec 13 2011

Great theme.

Log Out and Shut Down pop-ups are dark transparent boxes. Wouldn't this look better if they went with the rest of the theme? - Dec 05 2011

Thanks for info... Tried, substituted with Cantarell, but bold in this font is too large for the panel, and I'm too lazy (and unknowledgeable) to start figuring out which other font to use and/or which bold entries to change. In the meantime, I'll stick with your setup (which, in its entirety, is quite a nice one). - Dec 02 2011

These are installation files (.deb). Extract the three files, and double-click on the file; follow the instructions. Install the "engine" file "first". Best if you do all of this from root nautilus - alt-F2 > gksu nautilus. Good luck! - Jun 02 2010

I copied the Oxygen notes.svgz into the Spoons widget directory, and all is OK.

Didn't realize that Spoons doesn't have a Lancelot skin... Just assumed :( ... Though, even with themes that do have a Lancelot skin, I haven't had any success getting anything but the Oxygen skin applied. Will fool around with it when I next use a Lancelot "equipped" theme.

Will wait patiently to see if you can come up with a solution to the Kickoff problem.

Thanks for all of your help. - Feb 18 2009
Great redo of a great theme.

Possible to tell me how to remove complete transparency from Notes? I use different colors for different types of data. Tried using a different theme's Notes (via System Settings / Advanced / Desktop Theme Details), but when I apply the Customized Theme your panel gets messed up.

Also, is there any way to change the background color of the inactive categories in the Kickoff Application Launcher; perhaps to a grey? At the moment, it's black text on a black background. I might use the Lancelot Plasmoid, but I can't get it to skin in anything but oxygen.

Once again, SUPER STUFF!!! - Feb 18 2009

These files include, for example, the "inherets=faber-orangeclay-m" comment along side the "index.theme" files. However, I tried creating and using such a file, and it didn't work. The theme still doesn't show in the pointer choices. Will keep investigating and notify if I find the solution. - May 27 2008
Great stuff. But, you have no "cursor.theme" files... I'm running Hardy, and, after installation, they do not show up in the "Pointer" tab of "Appearance" => "Customize Theme". How can you apply the pointers? - May 27 2008

I was mystified why, with only this theme, it was taking a minute or two to open up emerald-theme-manager. After some investigation, I discovered some strange errors being listed in my .xsessions-errors file(/home/arthur/) every time I exited emerald-theme-manager. There were tens of this type of error:

(emerald-theme-manager:6448): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to allocate widget with width -1 and height 3

... each error had a different set of widths and heights, but at least one value in the error was a MINUS number.

I searched the gtkrc file, for the theme, for minus values, and found that there were no minus values, but that in the "# toolbar stuff" section, the .png names you had assigned were all "name-1" thru "name-4", and that the .png numbers are being interpreted as minus values. I believe that this problem could be solved by renaming the .png's - For example, you could rename "toolbar-blue-light-2" to "toolbar-blue-light2".

I can live with this problem, but I thought that you might want to correct this in your next update.

By the way, THIS IS A SUPERB THEME. - Aug 12 2007

New to SuperKaramba. Where is the clock_magick.py file? Doesn't seem to be one on my machine. There are 50846-clock_magick.rc and clock_magic.cfg files in my .superkaramba directory, but entering "cur_arrow=1 #thick hands" in these files doesn't work (unless I'm entering them incorrectly).

A little help would be appreciated.

Thanks
