Ubuntu Burning Star Babe

While I'm with you that I find curvvier women more attractive, the fact is recent discoveries are showing that the above woman is closer to an ideal than previously thought. Starvation activates a set of genes that cause the body to actually live longer.

While society does play some part in determining what's attractive, it's hardly the only, or even the largest, metric. We've never unearthed the bones of a "fat" caveman for a reason... - Jul 09 2008

No, they're religious whackos under the mistaken belief that seeing a breast will completely destroy a child forever. They're not real Americans. - Oct 29 2007

Now THAT'S a screenshot I can get behind! :)

Is that your learned opinion as a psychologist or as an idiot? Didja ever stop to think that it's perhaps the need of folks in the US to censor benign things like this picture that's the real problem? In other countries, nudity isn't as "taboo" as the States, and they all seem to get along just fine. - Aug 03 2007

it would be nice if the screenshot was actually bigger than the thumbnail. Nothing I hate more than clicking a thumbnail to get...the thumbnail.

Oh, no, wait, there is one thing: clicking a thumbnail and getting a screenshot of a 1600x1200 desktop that takes 10 minutes to load just so I can see what an app looks like when it's in the systray. :) - Jul 18 2007

I did a search for "Jennifer Love Hewitt" on DA, and found a similar one:

KDE 3.4 Translucency

KDE Plasma Screenshots by schestowitz 1 comment

This seems as good a place as any to ask the question: what's the big deal with translucency? Personally, I find it more a pain in the ass than anything, but everyone makes it seem like it's the holy grail of computing. - Feb 13 2006
Kontact improvements & integration ideas

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by skadge 22 comments

This is just the kind of thing you can do with Outlook if your company's running the MS IM service. We've been using it for a year, and I love the integration. This is a nice way to duplicate the functionality. - Feb 01 2006

Was that description up there before, or am I just an ass? (I already know I'm an ass, just wanted to make sure I was in this case). :) - Jan 30 2006

There's a little more information on the website, but I'm still not sure what it would be used for. Could you perhaps give an example of its use? The "Features" page on the site is pretty useless in this regard. - Jan 23 2006

Krecipes

Various KDE Stuff by fungmeista 18 comments

You know what I'd like to see? I'd love for you guys to work with the team from phprecipebook.sourceforge.net and get your db schemas to be the same. That way, you can share the recipes between the two applications. I can use Krecipes when I'm at home, but have phprecipebook available off my home webserver so I can share with friends. I can't imagine that your schemas would differ too much. - Nov 30 2005
