Man, my fault. I saw that you removed Mint from gnome-look then went to try to download it on DA. Last time I looked, it was on your main page on DA. I didn't see it so I thought you removed it from DA too. You have to click on your gallery to download it. Again my fault...sorry for jumping to conclusions, you can call me whatever names you want. :)

Your work is much appreciated btw...loving the new Firefox theme you've put out. - Mar 06 2006
Because of all this, lokheed took his ball and went home. He removed Mint from gnome-look and DA...good grief people, they're just gnome themes! - Mar 03 2006
I like it! Some color variations would be cool too...not the overall theme, but maybe some of the highlights could have some color. - Mar 03 2006
I kind of wish the title bar wasn't so blended....usability issue I guess. - Feb 28 2006

Why doesn't your panel background graphic go all the way across? Why doesn't it cover "Applications, Places, System"?

The theme called "Black" does do this and it's supposed to be based off your theme. I think it looks better like this. Any plans for this or could you explain how it could be done? Thanks!

Nah, 1.5 is great. The only thing I'd change though is the panel. I'd prefer a solid background/color or whatever instead of the dual color you have going. I don't like the way the launcher (main menu) has a solid background and then the panel has the png background with the two colors.

That's just me though... - Feb 01 2006
This one is definitely in my rotation. I'm using the Gray-Flat with the Clearlooks 2.1 metacity and I've modded the gtkrc bg[SELECTED] = "#50749E". It rawks!

Also, was 1.4 version a slightly different color than just gray? Something looks different. I might go back to 1.4 just to make sure what it was...both look great though! - Jan 31 2006

I haven't installed the new version yet because I'm about to install FC4 from scratch...but can someone post a screenie of the "Quicksilver" color scheme? I didn't even know that was a choice. - Jun 14 2005

Read the latest changelog at the top of this page.

"Menuitem selection is flat now, to resemble a list item. This can be
reverted in the gtkrc." - Apr 20 2005
They took the metacity out. You need to get it separately. - Apr 03 2005
I sent you an email...might want to check that out. - Apr 01 2005
How do you hack clearlooks so it doesn't use the included gnome icons? I asked this before for version 0.4 and someone said to comment out the icon includes in the gtkrc file and that worked. But it's different with the new version of course. Help! Thanks! - Apr 01 2005
Yeah, looks like Tahoma to me. - Mar 25 2005
Excellent...thanks! - Mar 23 2005
Anyone know how to shrink the titlebar like the first screenshot shows? - Mar 23 2005
Exactly what I was looking for. Commented out the includes and it worked perfectly...thanks dude! :) - Mar 11 2005
You said you could chose to not use the new icons or not. I wanted to know how to "opt out" and go back to how 0.3 looked. I was able to keep my Bluecurve icons (using Fedora Core 3) with 0.3 and but not with 0.4...that's what I meant. - Mar 10 2005
Ah come on...he's just saying it doesn't fit. It's not like he's talking about your mother or anything. ;)

Check the page before this...you didn't answer my question. :) - Mar 10 2005
So how do I "opt out"? - Mar 09 2005
0.3 rules! The active tab stripe and the candy cane progress bars make it look too kde-ish. I don't prefer the added gnome icons either. I'll stick with 0.3. - Mar 08 2005
We need an xmms skin to go with this and that'd be perfect! Any takers? ;) - Mar 04 2005
Can I install this over my current 0.3 installation or do I need to uninstall 0.3 before installing 0.4? If I need to uninstall 0.3, how would I do that? - Mar 04 2005

Did you keep the screenshot of the 0.4 version? If so, can you post a link to it? Thanks! - Mar 31 2005
Yeah, sorry about that. Now that I think about it, the new titlebar gradient, although subtle, really does make for a nice upgrade. However, the new buttons are definitely keeping me from using you're latest work.

Excellent work nevertheless...even if I'm not a big fan of the new buttons. :) - Mar 24 2005
Thank God I saved the previous version! This version isn't butt ugly or anything but the previous version was way better. - Mar 23 2005
I'm not sure if it's just my box or not but when I installed Remenic's Clearlooks 0.3 gtk theme and then used it with your metacity theme, I lose the default color scheme for Clearlooks. I only have "Deepsky" and "Olive" in the controls list. Is there some kind of naming conflict going on?

I realize your metacity theme is now including in 0.4, but I like 0.3 better but can't use your metacity theme because I lose the default Clearlooks color scheme. Any ideas? - Mar 05 2005

Does this theme only work with a certain screen resolution? I'm at 1280x1024 and the alignment is a bit off for the "Option", "Session", and "System" icons. - Aug 16 2004
