I had already tried that. Unfortunately, the downloading links given on that page all lead to a 404 error.

I guess some things are just not meant to be. I would have really liked to use this theme in KDE, but I cannot download the engine.

Hi,

When I untar the overall package and then untar Phacile-blue individually, I get a directory called Phacile-blue-theme, but there seems to be no way to actually install the theme and make it appear in Kcontrol.

I don't understand why makers of wallpapers would place distro-specific logos on the images in the first place. By doing so, they are already limiting its potential usage.

It annoys me no end when I see otherwise nice wallpapers with the Ubuntu or Debian or Fedora logo on them. I am a Fedora user, and happily I don't see too many Fedora-specific wallpapers.

Ubuntu seems to be far and away the worst culprit in this regard.

Well, I have tried your suggestion, and just about everything else imaginable, but I still cannot get it to display in my list of themes in the System -> Preferences -> Theme menu.

What is strange is that I tried to install the theme when I had Fedora Core 4, and it would not work. Then I tried it again after getting Fedora Core 5, and it still would not work.

I guess the theme is just not meant for me. - Apr 16 2006

I cannot seem to get it to work. I have downloaded and untarred the file in my ~/.themes directory. But the theme does not show up in my list of themes in Preferences -> Theme.
