For GTK+ version, I'm using 2.4.14 from Debian sid. And with regards to menu hilight styles, I'd love for the menu hilight to be drawn the way the buttons are. Other than that, a "flat" menu hilight (bordered, like Mist) would be nice too. - Jan 09 2005

First, great engine! GTK+ really needs more good engines like this. Second, I found one bug, in the GNOME theme manager when I open the "Theme Details", the scrollbar's trough is drawn down past the end of the scrollbar (as in, crosses the text label below it). And actually, while I'm posting, one other thing, would it be possible for the menu items to be more customizable? I'm not a big fan of Bluecurve's menu hilight style. Anyway, thanks for a really nice engine, I look forward to future releases. - Jan 08 2005

I just wanted to say I personally think this is the best GNOME iconset in a long time, I hope one day it becomes the default. :) My newly created GNOME theme, BasicGNOME, (GTK+ 1 and 2 parts and index.theme are here in GTK 2.x, and the Metacity part is here in Metacity :)) use these for the icons. If I ever get decent at using Inkscape I would love to help work on Suede. Until then I'll just have to be satisfied with making various themes to go with it. :) Do you have any plans for the future of these icons so far? Because I'm serious about hoping this set becomes the GNOME default, it fits right in with the stock icons, and it's much more clean and sharp than Industrial (no offense to anyone who has worked on the Industrial icons), and the current default GNOME icons are a bit, well, dreary. :) - Jun 21 2004

All of them use those names for the icon except the following:
synaptic uses synaptic_48x48
gimp uses wilber-icon
glade uses glade-2 - May 09 2004

First I want to say I *love* this iconset. Second, I'd like to suggest a Kopete emoticon set to match (and one for Gaim too). Other than that, I just need an icon for kmldonkey, synaptic, plucker-desktop, logjam, pan, kdbg, glade, kprof, kaffeine, kid3, tvtime, kvim, and gimp. That would make the set perfectly complete for me. :) Very nice work, I hope you'll continue to create wonderful things to go along with it. Thanks for all your work, oh, and I love the color scheme too, I'm using it with the Reinhardt style and the Ridge windeco, and it looks great. - May 08 2004
