Also if you don't want to mess with that, here is the link to the artists' own site

Thankyou, I loved the style of the button, but I wanted a distro logo on it. Your original artwork was great too! Hopefully I will be working on a complete theme of my own soon. I just started playing around with this prog., so I'm learning by editng other themes I have downloaded. - Sep 12 2006

Thankyou very much, i am glad that someone likes it. I don't really spend a lot of time making wallpapers, and i don't have a good drawing program to work with at the moment, so it's usually just using an existing logo, and then editng in gimp. Even when i do make one i don't spend alot of time or effort to make it. This one i spent about 30 minutes on or so. Like i said before, i usually make them for myself, and if i think i did okay and someone else may like it, i will post it. I personally use debian, so that's why the tendency is to use debian logos. I may try to make a hat one for ya, as a thankyou. i think i understand better what you mean now too, so i won't use a fedora, or redhat logo. - Feb 26 2006

KDE 3.x Splash Screens by scream 8 comments

I very much like the splash screen. It looks awesome when it works. I have a problem though. I can't, for the life of me figure out how to add in my own background! I try following your directions, but it never works. I open the transparent in gimp open my wallpaper i want to use and copy and paste the trans over it, then rename it to the name of the trans, and save it to the main folder. I don't understand what you mean by "be sure to choose save in" there is no save in, there is only save as or save. Am i supposed to ovewrite the Background.png file or the Background_transparent.png file? I have tried it both ways and it doesn't work. The closest that i have gotten, nothing comes up on the screen when the splash screen would be there, then when the desktop loads it says no background image please try placing a background.jpg into the theme file, then when i hit okay, the splash screen image the way i want it pops up on the screen, but it's only kind of half there, then i click on the screen and it goes away and back to the desktop. I have also tried to remove it and start over, but it doesn't give me that option, i have to go into a console and manually delete all of the content files but i can't remove the main directory folder. I am lost, any help would be great - Sep 07 2005

KDE 3 Color Schemes by Morg 11 comments

great color scheme!, I have always been partial to dark color schemes, I just always have problems with the font colors not working right in certain apps, white on white for tips and such. Thanx - Jun 17 2005
