mm, reminds me of the 'Web' style that was in kde 2. i quite liked that, why'd they take it away?
oh and before i instal this, do maximised windows have the close and menu buttons right in the corners of the screen like the plasik one?

How did you make your context menu so short?
Mine has the 'copy to' and 'move to' entries, which i never use, in fact i never use most of these entries. (open in new tab/window, cut, copy, paste, copy/move to) how can i turn them off? - Mar 27 2004

cool. The problem is, that i don't think many people would actually be in a dir with ebuilds very often, in konqueror. But, this is still useful. It will become really useful when things like kportage are worth using. - Feb 19 2004

I like the first screenshot, didn't try the second. BUT: I think it needs to be darker on the left hand side. more grey than silver. I think it's too bright.

Yes, but i mean things start faster in kde3.2 than they did in 3.1. I think if i prelinked gnome it might get similar response time. But then, i still haven't prelinked kde yet :) - Feb 11 2004

You probably shouldn't be making fun of the other tim guy. He has a good cause.

Anyway, as a background this is awful. Waay too bright blue, waay too bright green. On the other hand, the sun is one of the best i've seen.
Ecclesiastes 9:9: Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given ou under the sun - all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun.

Well, it probably doesn't apply to fitt's law. Probably the most important button is the one on the left (the kde menu i assume) and it takes aiming to get to it. It would be better to have it flush with the left side of the screen. Also, i don't like the idea of panels being 2 different sizes. It means that if you maximise a window you have all this wasted space above the taskbar.
Of course, this would be good for converting those crazy windows users :) - Feb 08 2004

go to the control center, open khotkeys (it's in 'regional & accessibility' for me), go to the general settings tab and click the 'import new actions' button.
You have to have kde3.2 btw (or just have khotkeys installed) - Feb 08 2004
The reason i didn't post a screenshot is because there's nothing to see. The mouse movement is the same though (move the mouse south-east then west to view page source, etc)
Having the actual radialcontext menu would be fantastic though. I wonder how hard it would be to implement firebird extensions in konqueror? (like the nsplugins thing) - Feb 08 2004
