[root@undertaker ksquirrel-libs-0.6.0]# more INSTALL
How to install 'ksquirrel-libs' package:

a) from sources
# tar zxfv ksquirrel-libs-0.6.0.tar.gz
# cd ksquirrel-libs-0.6.0/
# ./configure.gnu (or ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib/ksquirrel-libs)
# make
# su -c 'make install'

b) from binary packages
RPM # rpm -ihv ksquirrel-libs-0.6.0.rpm
TGZ # installpkg ksquirrel-libs-0.6.0.tgz
DEB # dpkg -i ksquirrel-libs-0.6.0.deb

Note: You can pass all regular 'configure' parameters to configure.gnu.
Note: You needn't specify --libdir, it's already done in configure.gnu.
Note: Your automake version should be 1.8 or higher.
Note: If "make install" fails in doc/ directory, ignore it.

Working now - but you do need to specify --libdir (at least I did).

Hmmm, interesting results...

[phil@undertaker Downloads]$ ls /usr/lib/ksquirrel-libs
ls: /usr/lib/ksquirrel-libs: No such file or directory
[phil@undertaker Downloads]$ ksquirrel -l
kio (KDirLister): +KDirLister
kio (KDirListerCache): +KDirListerCache
kio (KDirWatch): Available methods: Stat
kio (KDirListerCache): -KDirListerCache
[phil@undertaker Downloads]$

I did follow your readme! Guess I should try rebuilding it...

I've got the same problem... the appropriate libraries are installed (libtiff, libjpeg and libpng) - KDE for example can display images fine, as can Showimg.

Any ideas?

Hee hee your own ass smart guy! I work in an office with lots of females who have such calendars. I've had this conversation/argument many times. Women who get offended at a bikini babe on my screen are the exact same ones who have semi-naked beachbums on their calendars.

Women can't have equality and feminism at the same time.

Hi, compiles and runs perfectly fine for me (FC 3, KDE 332, Xine 1rc8). One question though, I know how to split a movie except I don't want it split exactly in the middle. How do I select where I want the split? I tried using the slider on the split page but it had no effect.

No, I don't - first thing I checked.

This is on Fedora Core 3, and it's using udev - I'd blame that, it tries to do everything "dynamically" and has caused me problems with my joypad and getting a /dev/cdrom link, amongst other things.

Phil. - Dec 24 2004
No, sys/block etc is there, but in devices there is no info file.

[phil@undertaker device]$ ls
block detach_state model queue_depth rev state type
delete device_blocked power rescan scsi_level timeout vendor

[phil@undertaker device]$ pwd

[phil@undertaker device]$

I would except the info (file) isn't there. My sda and sdb are scsi discs.

Anything else I can try?
Phil. - Dec 23 2004
...I already have a sda and sdb because I have 2 scsi discs. Won't this pick up my hard drives as pen drives?

Is there a way around this?

Hi... this is a great tool. trying to use iptables from a command line was a nightmare for me, so a nice GUI is much appreciated.

So far the only things wrong I've found are spelling mistakes :-) Oh and it assumed runlevel 5 when I was on runlevel 3 but that's hardly an issue.

Keep up the good work, this is a great tool for firewall newbies.

The app is looking very polished now... the only thing I think that would be useful is a "Find Duplicates" where images of the same content, regardless of file name, can be hunted down (as per ACDSee on Wind'ohs).
