I would love to use the theme, but I keep getting this error:

/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.0.2/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lacl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [kstyle_baghira_config.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/user/Documents/Other/Themes/KDE/baghira-release/config'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/user/Documents/Other/Themes/KDE/baghira-release'
make: *** [all] Error 2

It does this for both the CVS and regular 0.7 tarball. The SuSE 10.0 RPM does not give me the widget style option so that's what I tried to install from source. - Jan 13 2006

I get an error that my automake is too recent:
user@test:~/Documents/Other/Themes/KDE/marlin_build_los-linspireclear-style-1> make -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

*** YOU'RE USING automake (GNU automake) 1.9.6.
*** KDE requires automake 1.6

make: *** [all] Error 2
phillip@northwood:~/Documents/Other/Themes/KDE/marlin_build_los-linspireclear-style-1> unsermake -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository

Any way to force it? I am using SuSE 10.0 which does not have automake-1.6. - Jan 12 2006

It's to not scare people in the next cubicle over ;)

I know about that because I had to bring my laptop to work over the summer and scared a few inquisitive people silly when they looked over my shoulder and..."Hey! It's not Windows! What the $^%& is it?!" - Jan 09 2006

Yes, but only from within a Windows install in a VMWare Player sandbox with a Linux host. And then as little as I have to because Konq and Firefox on Linux work awfully darn nicely. - Jan 09 2006

Well, I have used all of them and they all caused a lot of X usage. Some other themes do this and some do not. My chipset is an Intel 845MP (for Pentium 4-Mobile CPUs).

I went and installed a bunch of Python-dev files, refreshed SuperKaramba, and went from the SUPER patched kernel to the standard 2.6.13-15.7-default one.

One of those made a big difference as it now runs fine and so do all other themes. - Dec 18 2005

Sorry, I found it: modify the MAX= value in the CPU section from 60 to your chip's max temp (95 or 100.) - Dec 17 2005

Nice job. This is one of the only decent Karamba system monitor themes that runs without eating up all of my CPU to run X.

One suggestion, though- is there any way to set the CPU temp bar so that the bar is really a function of the maximum temp so that the bar is not always all the way to the right? - Dec 17 2005

I really like this a lot, but just having it running eats up ~50% of my CPU to run X. Any clues as to why? I am running SuSE 10.0 with KDE 3.5.0. - Dec 17 2005

I was wondering if you had a version for Windows Messenger like you do for Linux. I know there is a version on the smileycentral website BUT I found there is a WHOLE lot of junk installed with the emoticons for Windows (all of my buds use XP, of course)

Could you possibly use this version with Windows Messenger somehow? I'd like to know. - Aug 21 2005

Sorry for the cruddy screenshot- I cannot get a good quality one in under 300 KB, so what I did is shrink my 1280x1024 (1.6 MB) screenshot down to 500x400 to get it to fit. The picture is much higher quality than the screenshot! - Jun 06 2005

The buildet extract time takes far longer than 15 seconds- it took about 3 minutes on a 32-bit Pentium 4 at 2.2 GHz. If you are on a broadband connection >1 Mbps, just download the whole shebang as it is faster. - May 10 2005

I am running this exact same setup on SuSE 9.3- same font and everything. To me, it looks a lot like Plastik with a glossier finish and the SuSE chameleon to the right of the title. - May 10 2005
