Hi admsasha - if you'd like, then:
- there's a Polish translation of this application: made by lami07 and me, both from Polish Arch Community, and
- there's PKGBUILD for 1.5.5 version: - Jan 12 2020

Here:,398.msg1970.html#msg1970 you have new PKGBUILD that builds both version of this package, against of Qt4 (for KDE4) and Qt5 (for Plasma 5/LXQT). Of course in the first post in this thread we have *.desktop and *.install files.

I have a few question to you, but... maybe later :) - Aug 05 2015
There is:,398.0.html all necessary scripts for build package for Arch Linux.
Version builds against of Qt5 works good, but I have to improve scripts for Qt4 version because of error in intallation (apps works). - Aug 05 2015

And another one tip: you have to delete PaxHeader folder within QZ-flat folder after unpack it. - Dec 23 2014
It's even not 7z pack but 7z (with little manual help) can unpack it :) - Dec 22 2014
OK. It's not *.zip file :) Everyone who want to unpack should do this:
- download file,
- in folder with downloaded file do: 7z x;
- now, you can see new file called QZ-flat
- delete (or just change the name of)
- rename QZ-flat to,
- unpack 7z x
All files of theme wil be stored in QZ-flat folder. - Dec 22 2014
Ark, unzip, 7z... zip-file is corrupted as it's shown on my previous post. - Dec 22 2014
Unfortunetly, zip-file from dropbox is still corrupted.

End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of or, and cannot find, period.[/code]
It's a pity, because your works look great. - Dec 22 2014

I've never noticed any problems with "sudo make install" on Arch with Qt applications (build with cmake or qmake). I could reproduce this error everytime I've building QScanner.
I'll try to build it on Sabayon or Gentoo. - Jul 25 2014
Hi. First of all - thanks for new scanning application for Qt/KDE, more functional then available in them.
I've tried to build QScanner as below:
qmake-qt4 (I'm Arch Linux user)
sudo make install.
The first two commands are finished properly, but the third with this error:
make: there is nothing to do in 'install'.
Application is build in make directory and works (but I have no possibility to save it as pdf.
What did I do wrong?

It's something wrong with link to source, becouse the answer is:
The requested URL /stable/skanlite/0.9/src/skanlite-1.0.tar.bz2 was not found on this server.

There aren't Skanlite version 1 in Ubuntu or Debian repository, too. According to, the latest version is 0.8.2 (in Quantal) and 0.9 (in Raring), and according to the latest version is 0.8.2 (in testing and sid).

OK, I've understood my mistake. Now, I compile with:
and everything is OK.
Many thanks. - Jul 11 2012
Hi Musikolo.
Thanks for the answer.
There isn't any "next command' after that. Command sudo make install just ending its work and return to path.
I try to compile in that way (without root permission):
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` ..
make install

OK. I'm user of Kubuntu 12.04 with some modifications, but I have all neccessary devel packages to build kvirustotal.
According to INSTALL file, commands: cmake, and make don't return any errors. Unfortunetly command make install dont' install kvirustotal. It returns only:

After that commands: kvirustotal (even with root privilage) returns "command not found", and commands locate (or find) kvirustotal returns that kvirustotal is found only in my temporary directory.
I've tried to use checkinstall, too, but package is without any content. - Jul 08 2012

I've tried to compile this plasmoid, but "make" command returns error. I'm using Kubuntu 12.04 with KDE 4.8.90 (KDE4.9beta), Qt4.8. I installed kde4-workspace-dev package (here is filelist of it: )
The error with make is there:
