Plasma Themes by extra 10 comments

Hey guys, I wouldn't like to sound snob or whatever, but it's really simple to add it as a different theme and keep the default one as it is.
You just have to edit the "Name=" line in the file "metadata.desktop" which is located in the main folder of the theme, "Air with circles".
You only need to care that the Name MUST match the folder name of the theme.
In short:
- extract the tar wherever you want
- copy the "Air with circles" folder in your ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/
- change the "Name=Air" to "Name=Air with circles" in the file ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/Airwith circles/metadata.desktop

If you use KDE 4.5 or 4.6, I strongly suggest that you copy at least the original "systemtray.svgz" and "arrows.svgz" from /usr/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme/default/widgets/ to your ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/Airwith circles/widgets folder in order to match the new systray. Other svgz files can be copied at will.
I hope you find this information useful. - Feb 24 2011
