Great script, very helpful. Only one small bug that I've found so far. I have a Windows application that I run using Crossover Wine. The command is:

/opt/cxoffice/bin/wine "/home/sean/.cxoffice/dotwine/fake_windows/Program Files/QuickPar/QuickPar.exe"

iLaunch will not run this no matter how I formatted it. I ended up having to create a shell script to run it, and that finally worked.

While it may be that time a year, when young adults are being handed that diploma they've worked so hard for, and would probably love some kind of class of '04 wallpaper, I don't think anyone wants a picture of YOUR graduation. These "wallpapers" were also thrown together pretty quickly without much style or ambition. Sorry for the sharp criticism, but I can't imagine why you posted these. - Jun 09 2004

Its a cool picture!

Not to turn this entire post into a political thing, but lets not forget we (Americans) have recieved just as much help from the Europeans in our own wars. Without the French, we may not have won the war for our own independance. Your making it sound a bit like, "We keep helping and helping you with nothing in return, and yet you dislike us." They have made plenty of sacrifes for us. The fact that many Americans forget this might have something to do with their dislike of us.

Ok, I went ahead and made two new variations on the splash screen without text. The Gimp source code is still the original, and you can easily take out what you don't like through that method. Plus some of the leaves are on different layers, so its easy to slip other text or images between the leaves.

If anyone makes some cool changes go ahead and put them up. This is GPL after all. :) - Jun 01 2004

Yep, your right about a lot of that. All in all it was just an experiment. I wanted to 1) bring the text/image down into the bottom bar, to 'blur the lines' between the top and bottom, and 2) try a transparent background & a semi transpart image. It seems to work well.
