I'm guessing you are using an old version of Perl or don't have all the correct Perl modules installed. I'd give you instructions on how to install them but it varies quite a bit from distro to distro, and I'm not familiar with them all. - Mar 26 2003

IMO, the animation not only makes the cursors look good, but it makes them easy to spot on the screen. That's the main reason I'm glad XFree86 now supports animated pointers.
