This is ok for the good looks, but seriously impairs usability.

just a suggestion, but if you include a screenshot with twf (the widget factory, in Ubuntu repos), people can see all the widgets at once (progress, scroll bars, combos, ...).

Take it easy. He clearly labelled it alpha, so it might crash under any circumstances that are not identical to his computer.

The cause of the crash is the menu applet (Applications, Places, System) which the author is not using so he is not experiencing this crash.

I love it but it makes my gnome-panel crash (I tried some apps for the look while ignoring the crashes).

I hope for newer versions soon!

Just another note, the compile puts everyting in /usr/local, while my distro looks in /usr. I have Ubuntu Dapper and Edgy. - Jan 13 2007

I can hardly wait...

Some suggestions maybe, a background color or texture for the menus would look good.

And some speed improvements would also be nice, but I guess that is because of the engine, the clearlooks one is faster, so if you port it at some point in the future, that will take care of itself.
