Hey this theme is great.
But it seems there is a bug in the systach.py of black_modern style.

The background doesn't appear, because, it specifies the wrong image name :

themes = {
"classicTheme" : [273,292,"tach_white.png","","","needle_black_modern.png"],
}

I changed to "tach_black_modern.png"

I think it would be great to get a playlist...or a coverlist, or the two :p

But it would pollute the screen, so I think this should be hidden during the playing of the list. It should appear when moving mouse to the screen edges (say, left : playlist; right : coverlist).

I seems it has already be done, as an amarok script, but I think amarokFS should be integrated in amarok core, as a menu entry. For example : Tools>AmarokFS.

What would be great, would be a "right-click-menu", with a "preferences" entry. It could launch a window, where you could choose wether you want or not the search engine, the favourite applications.

I've "only" an HP nx6110 Laptop. That's to say : intel Celeron 1.3Ghz, 512Mo (2x256Mo) ram, intel 915GM graphic chipset (64Mo shared memory).

Xorg 7.0 on a kubuntu dapper

- kcontrol->appeareance->style tab "effects"
- you have a menu like "menu effects" and a choice "make transparent"
