Heh. And another thing - using this with Ubuntu, you still get the hideous Human colours in tooltips. If you add NotificationTheme=bubble to the index.theme, they get GTK theme colours and look SOOO much better. Don't know if this would cause any other issues, but works just fine here.

Cool - no probs. Thanks for the theme, and thanks for being on hand to answer questions! Hope you get on-board with the Ubuntu guys (although I read somewhere that Shuttleworth has hired some dudes to do it, and that he *loves* orange...).

Genius. Thanks - i've been so obsessed with optimising vertical workspace, I completely missed that! Looks way better now - I can live with the loss of a few pixels. Next up: I guess it's a Firefox issue with the ugly box around the address bar and search box? - Jan 31 2009
Hiya. Beautiful theme - the script worked perfectly. Just wanted to ask - when I hover over buttons in Firefox, I get a nasty white background - is this a known issue, or have I done something daft?

Thanks again! - Jan 31 2009

Grr. Yeah, Gnome here. Thanks for the reply! - Jan 10 2009
Hi - love your theme. There's only a few dark themes that make text readable, yours is one. One question though - my panel looks rubbish compared to your screenshot - have I missed something there? Enabling transparency on the panel just leaves the window-list and the notification area opaque...

Thanks for your hard work. - Jan 08 2009

This GTK looks great - I think the grey text might look a little better if it were a couple of shades whiter (or bluer?). It looks a little like 'in-active' or 'greyed-out' text at the moment. Otherwise, can't wait to give it a go! - Jul 18 2008

Hi! Your GDM theme is by far the best theme i've seen on this site. Clean, simple and readable. Your work has singularly inspired me to make my desktop look as close to your *GDM* theme as possible.

To this end, rather than use your zniavrOObuntoo GTK, I played around with some other elements that were available out there, and came up with this: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/NEUR0M4NCER+27-06-08?content=84174. None of it is my own work (apart from the kindergarten wallpaper), I just put some bits together in a very simplistic way, but I think it would be a good reference if you ever feel like developing zniavrOObuntoo GTK any further. When I have the time, I plan to change the min/max/close buttons a little (yeah - actually do some work myself!!), but apart from that I think it fits in very well with your GDM theme.

Hope this doesn't sound un-grateful or nit-picking, I love the work you've done.

Thanks for all of your hard work (and that of all the other contributors who helped me get a sweet desktop look)!

... okay, stupid me. I simply restarted all the screenlets and it was working just fine.

... as i'm already posting though - is there any way you could put the date in the middle of the ClockRing in kinda the same format as the SensorRings?

Thanks - May 10 2008
Absolutely love these sensors, as-well as the ClockRing, looks beautiful.

When I set a ring to wlan0 it doesn't give any signal details, just stuck at 100% (which unfortunately isn't true...) - is there something I can edit in the RingSensors5.ini to get signal details?

Thanks again for these awesome Screenlets. - May 10 2008

Already spent countless hours tinkering with Compiz on my own - this would have been invaluable if it was available when I first installed it in Feisty Fawn. More people should make use if the profile feature in Compiz, it'd save a lot of forum posts "How do I get... plugin working?", etc. Good work.

p.s. For the less fainthearted, perhaps you should pop a list of the effects enabled/disabled, or a realistic PC spec needed to run said plugins? - Feb 27 2008
