when you merge PDF files, it would be nice to be able to choose the name of the destination file. Or at least it was a short filename. Now concatenates the name of all the PDF files to join and in case that name will be very long, an error appears and the documents are not merged.

I look at pdfunit-kdialog options and I can't see the option to like in pdfunite...

pdfunite-kdialog --help

USE: pdfunite-kdialog action files

action: merge, add
files: file1 file2 ...

example: pdfunite-kdialog merge /home/user/file1.pdf /home/user/file2.pdf

Great work! To make it work with ubuntu 11.10 you need to create a script ...

nano ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/mailpictures

and paste this...

#!/bin/bash
/usr/share/mailpictures/mailpictures.pl "$@"

make it executable...

chmod 755 ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/mailpictures

and finally restart nautilus...

nautilus -q

now work's!

Using clean Ubuntu 11.04 works well!

Using clean Gentoo install don't work.

Using clean Kubuntu 11.10 don't work.

Using clean Ubuntu 11.10 don't work.

The process hang on working until I kill oosplash.bin, then the process finishes and the PDF is created.

Any clue to solve that?

I'm using libreoffice 3.4.4.
