I understand, but I'm using launchpad binary version of yawp, so I depend on this person's effort. - Feb 12 2010

Yawp does not work on 4.4.0 final:

Plasma 4 Extensions by PlasmaFactory 1198 comments

I'm very sorry to bring this up again, but it *is* yawp. It turns out it only happens after reboot. At first I thought it was coupled with knetworkmanager but it isn't, I'm 100% sure. If only there was a way to see why kded wants to open kwallet, I could help you out. I can tell you that the kwallet request allways happens right after yawp has finished collecting the weather info. like it needs access to write cache or state info?
And no, my home-dir is not on a password protected drive! Is there a way to strace or debug a plasmoid otherwise? - Feb 07 2009

I was really, really sure but tested it again just to prove my point. Guess what... it's not yawp.
My apologies... this is really twilight-zone worthy material :/ - Feb 04 2009

I did svn up:
# svn up
U plasma_stdin.cpp
Updated to revision 23

and ./install but the behavior is still the same? - Feb 04 2009

It looks like yawp forces KDE Daemon to open kwallet at logon. This is strange, suspect and IMHO unnecessary behavior since yawp does not need any protected information, does it? - Feb 04 2009

This is really userfull plasmoid but I dislike the dis-ability to stretch it in only horizontal or vertical direction. The scaling always uses aspect-ratio constraint. Is this intentional? - Feb 03 2009

I must admit... this is by far the best emerald theme I've ever seen. Great job! - Jan 28 2009

Yes, it works like a charm!
Been waiting for this since the upgrade to 3.5.10! Great work... let's hope ubuntu will adopt it in their repos quickly for those who can't or won't compile themselves.

Thx! - Sep 24 2008

It's a bit enthousiastic to call this a 1.0 version. Tried 2 chm files, php_manual_en.chm (php english chm manual) and winmine.chm from win2k.
Both failed to show the content properly. - Jul 28 2005

KDE 3.x Window Decorations by dralgebra 175 comments

This is really great!

One little wish though: I would _love_ to see a 'brighten' or 'lighten' feature for this deco so that even on dark backgrounds the foreground window would stand out a little more. Plus, I think the resulting glowing effect would be great! - Dec 22 2004

Oh, and I forgot: it should never start with double Vowel as well... looks ugly and is hardly pronouncable ;) - Oct 06 2004

On debian qt3 is not in /usr/qt/3/ but in /usr/qt3/ or well... it is on my half package half self compiled system.
Further, my qt is multithreaded and the makefile assumes -lqt where in my case it is -lqt-mt.
How about configure? :) - Oct 06 2004
