It was my fault, the symlink from 3.20 to 3.18 in the gnome-shell folder was corrupted, I've fixed the files, try to clone or download the theme again from the github page, repeat the steps and let me know. - Jun 27 2016

Did you used the built version?
That one is compatible with Gnome 3.14, try to directly build it following the istructions on the github page. - Jun 27 2016
