I want to set the expanding size for task items to the maximum to have the task items always cover the whole applet area. This works fine for the 1440x900 display on my notebook, where the applet is slightly less wide than the maximum expanding size of 1000 pixels, but it fails on my other system with a 1920x1080 Full HD display. Could you please increase the maximum value for the expanding size to something like 3000 to 10000 pixels? - Jun 20 2011
Could you please increase the limit for the size of expanded items? It stops at 1000px, but I want my task items to fill up all available space on a 1920px panel. - Mar 26 2011

Works fine on my system, but there's a glitch in Okular. I have a multipage document open in "Fit to Page" scaling mode, so PgUp/PgDn switches between pages. When I do so, the background of the lineedit in the bottom bar becomes opaque for a moment (like half a second). This is always reproducible. - Oct 21 2010

Does the current version 0.1 fix your problems? I do not really see how this issue could be triggered (apart from the small moment when the applet is deleted, but I doubt that you are deleting the applet all the time).

If this does not help, you might want to try the ActiveWindowControl applet which is available from svn:// - I'm working to integrate the functionality of the KWin Button Applet into this applet. - Mar 29 2010
I know, I have some packages myself. My OBS account name is majewsky, but please do not expect me to come back to this too soon. I should be dealing with more important things. *sigh* - Mar 26 2010
Version 0.1 allows you to choose your own icons. - Mar 25 2010
The new version 0.1 adds support for different icon themes. You can use the monochrome buttons known from KRunner, or choose arbitrary Oxygen icons. - Mar 25 2010

I'm using exactly that repo that you mentioned (have just double-checked in YaST).

However, removing the 4.0.0 package and installing the 4.1.0 tarball from here solves my problems. - Feb 17 2010
I have the same problem. I'm also on openSUSE 11.2 and KDE 4.4.0 (Factory Desktop repo). The theme is also from a package, "plasma-theme-glassified". - Feb 16 2010

Hi. I'm enjoying version 0.4.3 from openSUSE Build Service currently (much thx to all involved devs and packagers!) and would like to report two issues I'm having (these are not in the changelog for 0.4.4, so I expect them to be reproducible in the current version):

1. The source has encoding problems (for example destination "Coschütz" is shown instead of "Coschütz", seems like you're reading UTF-8 text as ISO-8859-1) and shows HTML comments "<!-- Echtzeit: True -->" and "<!-- Quelle: DORIS -->" below each destination.

2. I have configured the line filter and set the direction filter to "Hide matching directions". However, the popup (the one that appears when you hover the mouse over the applet, and which shows only the next departure) disregards the filters (i.e. it also shows busses to hidden destinations or hidden lines). - Jun 23 2009

Here is another applet that reads from the DVB site: (It can also be found in openSUSE repos as plasmoid-dvb.) - Jun 03 2009

I revoke. After having fixed many side-cases, the current SVN version seems to run better than what you're seeing here.

However, the graphics are not as nice. The new graphics engine has problems with antialiasing and the old tiled background (this is hopefully solved by new artwork which is in process).

If you're brave, checkout the latest SVN revision and test the upcoming KDiamond 0.2! - Feb 11 2008
The current version of KDiamond is now being developed in KDE SVN (more precisely in the trunk/playground/games).

What you can find there is a development version where huge parts of the internal code have been replaced. If you want to use a stable version you should get KDiamond from here. - Feb 09 2008

Again updated the German translation.

It would be very nice if, in the permissions dialog, the active rights were already selected. - Aug 10 2007
Again added a German translation for 1.92 Beta. Keep up the work! - Aug 08 2007
1. I have again added a German translation, which is available at the same URL as before:

2. Some functions in the Perl script did not work for me at first because I have installed my KDE to /opt/kde3, so Kate is at /opt/kde3/bin/kate. You can solve that problem ultimately with

#Preferred applications
$FILEMANAGER = "`which konqueror`";
$TEXTEDITOR = "`which kate`";
$TERMINAL = "`which konsole`";
$BATCHRENAMER = "`which krename`";

(However, I did forget to include that in my translation.) - Aug 06 2007
I have translated it into German. Nice work! - Jul 07 2007

A nice idea! I suppose you change the menu's caption to "Touchpad control" because it is shorter and allows further additions (if someone has a good idea).

This is a nice plugin, but many of my buddies have no icons. I have checked the settings dialogs, but there seems to be no option to turn the buddy icons off. Could one add this, please? - Jul 17 2007

@manchicken: If you have Inkscape available, convert the SVG to PNG and scale it up to a width of 1440 pixels. Then, in KDesktop, choose "Scaled".

Great work. I just need a green color scheme for my windows. - May 08 2007
