I have an Owncloud-resource as carddav for the addressbook. Regularly (every 2 minutes or so), plasma-desktop uses a lot of cpu power and the whole plasma-Desktop is not responding (including all other plasmoids like taskbar, kicker,...)
Took me quite some time to nail it down to the plasmoid, but the birthdaylist is definitely responsible for this (though the error might actually be in the dav-resource) - Jan 05 2013
My setup is an Owncloud Calendar which I access via caldav. In there, there are two collections. All works fine, I can tell eventlist to only show collection1. However, sometimes when I boot or come back from standby, both collections of the caldav resource are selected again, so I have to unselect the second one. I'm not sure whether the problem is with the eventlist or with the caldav resoure itself, since Kalendar doesn't remember my default calendar from this caldav resource, as well. - Nov 19 2012

However, in my personal opinion the Agenda view is using way too much space.
I mean, it looks nice to have each event in a separate box with some space around them, but that just needs a whole lot of space. Also having the time in a second row uses way too much space in my opinion. I'd like to get the chance to customize the entry text completely.
Additionally: Switching from Agenda to Calendar view needs a lot more of space (which is quite clear since there is the calendar and kind of an agenda view). However, when switching back to the Agenda view it stays at this size which results in a weird layout. I'm using the calendar next to the events so when switching back to Agenda view the plasmoid's with is just HUGE! This way the two row layout of the Agenda view looks even more strange.
This just reflects my personal opinion.

I'd like to see the feature to select subcalendars as ressource.
My Scenario: I have an OwnCloud-calendar in my akonadi ressources. In this I have the two calendars 'default' and 'calendarB'.
I would like to only see the entries from 'default' in the eventlist, however, I can only select 'OwnCloud' as ressource and as a result entries from 'default' are shown as well as the ones in 'calendarB'.
Keep up the good work :) - Oct 22 2012

I found out that the file is still there, just under another link:

However, I cannot add tracks to the playlist. Simply, nothing happens on the playlist when adding a track.
Also, a feature to queue a song would be great. - Jun 07 2011

I am using pulic transport with the deutschebahn.com source and since the update to 0.10 beta8 the plasmoid uses a lot of my cpu. Top reports cpu usage by X and plasma-desktop.
Additionally, some of the entries are blinking saying "train already left". Maybe this causes the cpu problem.
Also dragging the plasmoid around doesn't go so fluently.

as you might have noticed, arch updated its python version to 3. So all the dropbox-scripts unfortunatelly don't work anymore. With #!/usr/bin/python2 everything works fine.
But I don't know about other distributions. Does that link also exist on distributions that don't have python3 as standard already? - Oct 21 2010

First of all, I really like that plasmoid, great work :)
I have a little suggestion: What would you think about the possibility to click on an entry and be able to send an email to the contact by that?

I installed the eventlist in my current trunk kde and there it works like a charm. A look into both akonadi-consoles showed me that the resource is configured correctly, but it gets not shown in the browser tab:
KDE 4.5.1: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4012381/kde4.5.1.png
TRUNK: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4012381/kdetrunk.png
How does that happen? It seems to be an error in my akonadi-setup. - Oct 04 2010

Further on, it would be great, if that could be integrated into the plasma device manager. I still miss that feature there.
Great work so far :) - Sep 12 2010

I really like that systemmonitor. For me it replaced my good old conky.
But there is one feature, I really miss. Is there a possible way to autoscale units and graphs like conky does.
E.g. if I want to monitor my network, which has a data rate of about 10 MiB/sec at home, the graph is quite useless, if I am at any other place, where I have not such a fast internet connection.
keep on coding :)
