Thanks!, The media backend stuff is actually already on its way.

Also it already has a mime type set for it so you can click on a feed ( or if you have a few programs for rss right-click and select KPodder ) And it will open KPodder and fill in the url for you. - Mar 19 2006

Various KDE 1.-4. Styles by gumis 29 comments

Been enjoying your theme, Can't wait for the other bits of Karamba, although I have been adding my own :)

I found Baghira to messy and it slows to much down, also I didn't like some of the Icons.

So I using Crystal ( http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13969 ) as the window decoration, and the black and white ( http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=24645 ) icon set, Plastik for the Style. Messed with the colors, looks very nice.

Also the power switchs reset and off don't work on my system and I suspect other peoples, So I dung around with dcop and found

For Reset
dcop ksmserver ksmserver logout 0 1 0

For Shutdown
dcop ksmserver ksmserver logout 0 2 0

These should work for anybody. Keep up the good work. - Sep 17 2005

JUST AN ILLUSION

Wallpaper Other by aiolia 6 comments

I like this, makes them look like an alien spaceship, or something close to battlestar galactica.

People might not get why this is an illusion, who don't know what the L'hemisferic is. - Apr 17 2005

All versions of KPM from 1.0 on are part of KDE, and are available from http://www.kde.org/download/ or from your distro. - Dec 18 2004

No my program doesn't do that. I think someone else is taking care of this problem for Konq. - Jun 26 2004

I'm actually working on that, been talking too Eric Laffoon about it. - Jun 25 2004
Lots of K

All that is true.

As far as science goes, we can only do what Povray is capable of.

For light the new photon system is very good, and can produce some amazing results. Refractions are finally handled properly, not faked with some inaccurate caustic algorithm. - Jun 23 2004

Yep you can, set what tags, not just standard ones.

The purpose is to remove unwanted tags, not tidy html mistakes (which is what html tidy does).

Though I've though about doing that as well. Lots of features to add yet... - Jun 15 2004

I could certainly add that feature.
Could you send me an example file, and I'll see what I can do. - Jun 14 2004

Just a suggestion, but it might be better, if there was a slight drop shadow under the text. ( Would make it clearer. ) - May 07 2004

Light3.2

It just a material.

material {
interior {
ior 1.5
}

texture {
pigment {
color rgbf
}

finish {
ambient rgbft
diffuse 0.1
phong 1
phong_size 400
specular 0.8
roughness 0.003
irid { 0
thickness 0
turbulence 0 }

reflection {
rgbft
}
}
}
}

Just cut and paste this into KPov. (It automatically changes the text into its objects).

Or look under share/apps/kpovmodeler/examples/

Theirs lots of pre-defined materials including this one. - Nov 19 2003
