yes, first of all you should compile your own kernel. in processor type and features there's an option High memory support, you should fix it to 4GB as maximum. - Aug 20 2005

it seems you have 1GB of RAM installed on your system. But I see your kernel just reaches to about 850 MB (I see it on your system monitor). Enabling high memory support will solve this. - Aug 19 2005
