You can set the right mouse button to close. That's what I do. - Sep 19 2010

I can understand those reasons, but I don't understand why you wouldn't give us a choice by letting us change the delay from a default of 600 to whatever we prefer, including down to zero.
The delay really is quite frustrating for me: the popups cover stuff I need to see or click on, and now I have to wait or click somewhere benign to get rid of them.
Is version 0.39.6 still available? - Sep 19 2010

Er, yes, I do this, but that's annoying too. It's isn't a fix, it's a work-around.

Not saying I don't love DBX, but I can't see why the user defined delay to move to other items doesn't also apply to moving off DBX. - Sep 13 2010

Love DockBarX, and have been for the last few versions.

But have just noticed a small annoying niggle with the latest version: pop-ups have a delay before they disappear when you move your mouse off DockBarX.

If moving to another item in DBX there's no problem - you can set this delay to 0, but when moving your mouse OFF DBX there is always a delay. I think moving off DBX should use the same delay as moving to another item, so I can set it to 0. - Sep 13 2010

Loving the dock, but one thing is annoying me:

Popup delay is configurable, which is very good, but the delay for the poups to disappear is NOT configurable.

So, because I like popup delay to be 0, when I move from one icon to another in the dock, I see 2 popups for a short time: the one I am moving to, and the one I was just on but hasn't disappeared yet.

Please let us change the delay for a popup to disappear to 0, if we wish.

Thanks! - May 16 2009

I have put two new versions of this theme on this site.

The first is the same as this theme, but the titlebar colour can be changed by the user:

The second is the same as the first, but with grey buttons instead of traffic lights:
