hi, thx for the new version, i will try asap!

one pvt problem inbetween, maybe someone is able to help out here (offtopic, excuse):

since a few days i am not able to view mp3 meta-info anymore. neither in konqueror, nor in krusader or whatever :-(

any clues how this could have happened? i even tried with a clean $home, but no go either. metainfo on ogg and even jpg works fine. - Apr 06 2006
well, its slow on guessing all the data, i think thats what he meant.

well, amarok search doesnt help in my case, i fear ;(

to make this clear:
i like to include 10 DVDs, and the covers are already in each subdirectory of every album.

unfortunately those covers are not found by default, so i would have to edit every album in tellico manually.

also i am missing a kind of "mass tagging". - Apr 03 2006

err.. i am talking 10 DVDs of mp3 here, sorry if i didnt make myself clear about this

no, of course there is no ".directory" in there.

oh, i just realize it reads the id3 tags all by itself. this is cool!

however - could it also thed the jpg/gif likewise to amaroK?

every album is in its own directory, and just contains one picture. would be nice if tellico takes this one ;) - Apr 03 2006

after i tried the above, KDE completly locked up. the keyboard was completly gone. though.. the mouse was still working, and i restarted the session. though.. no keyboard again after typeing in the password.

i am just configureing KDE from scratch. no big deal, was time anyway.. though.. there really is something wrong with this karamba theme. i wonder why it is unable to create the folders in .albumcovers. of course the directory is writeable. hmm.. - Apr 01 2006

hmpf, maybe someone else might shade some lite on this, i am at a loss.

yes, you are right, the theme is "simple", not even python, thats why i am wondering it doesnt work here. well, it DOES work, until i change the code while it is running.

couldn´t you provide a simple link, to download your theme?

got it to work now, but:

i cant position the theme at a place i like. i realize there is a layout option center/top/bottom - but i would like to define the position myself.

if i toggle locked position, and move the theme around, lock the position again, it doesnt remember its last position.

another problem if i reload the theme:

it compiles fine, btw.. no need to patch. it does also compile fine on my pure x86 gentoo (with some minor ~x86 ebuilds)

i dislike to use "kde-base/pykde" because i would have to *downgrade* sip, qscintilla, and whatnot.

well, to make a long story short: is skopete supposed to work with my current environment? for example, soundmania is using pykde as well, and it does fine here. so i suspect a problem with your theme (no pun intended, just questioning). - Jan 14 2006

it worked out fine. well, cant tell now if it was by just deleting contents in my ".superkaramba" directory, upgradeing to 8.8, or both (!?).

however - yes, it is fixed and works fine. maybe you put a hint in the README, INSTALL (or whatever you have there) one should delete old contents.
might help to avoid stupid questions (like mine ) and traffic.

ah yes, and you should mention the files one has to delete. just imagine someone has 10-20 superkaramba applets running, he would most propably dislike to delete all of them in ".superkaramba" .

anyway, well done mate! as usuall all my thanks.

its been a while i used liquid weather, and i gave it a shot today again (fresh system).

data is fetched if i reload the theme manually, though. any clues?

btw: i usually had this problem *always* except in one of your releases, but its a little difficult to fetch my comments in those 1000nds comments in here . i am almost sure we discussed this already..

well, apart from that everything works fine, but meanwhile this applet is of little use for me, if i have to reload it by hand.

could you and the other guy agree to make it just one?

i understand okie is the original author, and s3m10s started this liquid stuff, though..

maybe okie could put up different backgrounds and all that, with credits to s3m10s - or however you both agree.

otherwise the themes of s3m10s would not benefit of the changes made by okie.
