I've created an incredible openSUSE wallpaper with the samples you've posted over the past couple of days, and if I find the time to post it, I'll be certain to link back to all the files that you provided that sparked the inspiration. I havn't been inspired to make any art until i saw your submissions. - Mar 13 2007

For those that want a clear understanding of why this icon set is simply a collection of other peoples work, check out the following two set and tell me if you notice anything similar;

Futuresoft would be wise to go elsewhere with their claims of creation. Being based South of the border won't save them either. - Feb 10 2007

I'd prefer to ask kompmanager not to draw a shadow around karamba widgets, because that allows theme creators to get more elaborate with the graphics used to create widgets, but every time I click on the widget kompmanager redraws a shadow around it as soon as it get the focus. This redrawing behavior didn't occur unil I upgraded to the latest and greates version of KDE that was released last night. Shrinking the window size around the widget is the simplest fix though.

This theme reminds me of SUSE's theme only it smaller and slightly more elegant.
Great Job! - Jan 06 2006

I have the original Aero-sources posted by AdrienV, but I'd like to use your sources to rapidly create some Aero backgrounds in different colors for the clock. I've epanded on your clock and made the theme totally configurable with a clock alarm, user selectable text color, AM/PM display ability, resizable, and hopefuly, with your help background configurable. I need your sources to maintain the original size of the clock. I could hack together my own, but I'm not trying to upstage your original creation, I just want to expand on it a bit.
By the way, I love the 3D effect you created by slightly shitting the duplicate text. At first I asked myself why you had two text lines, then it clicked in my head. That's a great alternativce to the text shadow.
Great theme by the way! I removed my Kicker clock applet after you posted your theme. - Aug 16 2005

2. Since Superkaramba is now in the kde 3.5 branch, has the problem of having shadows drawn incorrectly around widgets been resoved? - Aug 04 2005

run the following at the command line:
1. chmod +x scriptname
2. ./scriptname &
3. click on window you want to remove the shadow from.
The script works with kompmanager which is really just xcompmanager with a few kde mods.
Hope this helps. - Aug 02 2005

If I might make one suggestion, I would say that you should add a dialog box that allows a user to configure the fonts in each section. I had no problem editing the scrpt to get the fonts to fit the widget, but everyone isn't so confortable playing around with the script. LW makes changing the font color configurable with such a dialog box.
Also, although I know that the dashboard calendar is the inspiration for this theme, but have you considered adding the time to this theme(possibly an option) in the open space below the dates(centered and the same font size as the days) to add a uniqueness to the calendar.
Great work thus far! - May 19 2005

After the Exqusite icon Package is built by the script, install the icons using the KDE icon center. The fully built Equisite icon package will be larger that the compressed package containing the icon build kit. - Feb 12 2005
