I think you need to install XFree86-devel package. I had the same problem on SuSE 9.0 installing superkaramba 0.33 from source. - Jan 26 2004

Too bad you couldn't even remove the "gamewallpapers.com" from the image. Not that all of their images are original either. Most stuff they have is available elsewhere. - Aug 31 2003

I have not uploaded it yet because I am still trying to find time to make it better, and add better comments to the script, but if you email me (jdouglas@scopicmedia.com) I will send it to you. - Aug 26 2003

I've been working on something similar to that, a replacement task bar. Mine does everything I want with the exception of being able to have a tray icon for Kopete (or Gaim would be OK too). If anyone has any clue if this is even possible, I'd appreciate the info. - Aug 22 2003

I like the picture, but it doesn't appear to be 1024x768, or any other standard desktop size. - Aug 22 2003

Thanks, that helped... I didn't have gnome-control-center installed so I didn't know it was an option! But I also had to figure out the string to use for MozillaFirebird. Which was the following, in case anyone else cares!

/usr/share/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird -remote "openURL(%s,new-tab)" || /usr/share/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird "%s"

That opens it in a new tab, or new browser window if there is not one already. If you want it to always open in a new window, change "new-tab" to "new-window". Hope that helps someone.

But I still do not know where to set up the "mailto:" to work properly... sigh. - Aug 15 2003

I have been waiting for this! Now if I could just figure out how to get Evolution to launch MozillaFirebird when I click on a link in an email... and how to get Evolution to open a new mail message when I click on a mailto: link in MozillaFirebird... then I'd be REALLY happy. :) - Aug 14 2003
