Why post work that is not yours and not give credit, at least, to the original artist?

A distro without systemd... does it come in a live .iso? I looked on their official site but couldn't tell if it did.

Then why post what is not your work?

Has anyone read Google's style manifesto "Material Properties"?

I have to admit that I prefer Cinnamon, not because I think it is the best, but because of the simplicity of ease to which it lends itself to modification.

Good icons.
- Apr 01 2016
What time of year did you take the pic?

I understand. It's a lot of work to make original icons. It took me over 10 months to make my own icon set. Categories is only about 80 or so icons, but apps is over 1500, and always there are more. Good luck.

I gave this an up vote, as they are gorgeous icons; however, the theme seems to be missing many icons. Why no categories or applications?

I really like this, it's a great combination of old style and new.

I know it is quite confusing sometimes, and a lot like learning a language by being dropped off in a foreign country and told "you'll figure it out" over a bullhorn as the helicopter flies away. You can comment out and index the files if you wish to take the time to do that. I've started doing that with cinnamon files because they have grown to over 3600 lines of code. Who knows, other people might appreciate your effort. It takes time and a lot of trial and error. Go to the forums or IRC and ask if there is something you can't figure out. Someone will help you figure it out. - Mar 08 2016

Nice first try at modding a theme. If I may suggest; perhaps you might do better if you choose a newer theme instead of such an old one. And spend the time to change everything from the ground up, all the pixmaps and code, to give it a truly unique appearance that is above and beyond just changing the highlights.

A stroke of unadulterated genius. From its meagre beginnings I can see you have wrought a mighty work, elegant in its understatement, limitless in depth, and destined to withstand the test of time. Your subtle use of chiaroscuro, coupled with your intricate display of texture and dynamic utilization of space, give this work a timeless sense and classic appeal.

I dont use KDE, but I like this.

I like what you have going on here with this theme, I definitely had to give it an up-vote. My only suggestion is that the red and green and cyan seem to be at odds with each other and would seem more consistant if it were shades of one color.

try adjusting in GTK 3, gtk-main-common.css , (desktop items,) @define-color_desktop_item_fg #ffffff

I would suggest adding: "xftalpha 1" right below your "use_xft yes" command. It might help make the dark blue more visible against the background. I gave this an up vote.

What better timepiece for a computer than the eye of HAL. A truly inspired piece.
