I'm not interested, since I use MATE (Because of the same reason you made these patches :)).
However, I think that it would be very nice to have it by defalult.

I don't think that the "official" patches contain anything other than just menubar.

Impressive!
Can you submit the patch to Ubuntu? Since 13.10 they patch calculator for exactly that, so I don't think they will refuse, while this will definitely improve experience. Evince 3.8+ feels very alien under Unity, especially without menu. - Oct 22 2013

By 'select any other window' I mean just making another window active.
Other opened apps don't matter.
Right now I reproduced it with dolphin and systemsettings (2 times) with Firefox opened.

If it's important: distro is openSUSE 11.4, KDE version is 4.7.1, and it reproduces under any user. - Sep 29 2011

To reproduce it, just open and close any window over and over again until it happens.
Number of dolphin windows doesn't matter.
I closed windows one by one via button in windeco or Alt+F4. - Sep 28 2011
