I just can't belive how well done this is! It honestly looks as if mozilla was writen using QT now. Thank you so very much.

I do prefer Firefox to Mozilla Browser, so I can't wait for the port.

I have a request as well. Would you be able to create a similar thunderbird theme? I haven't found a good theme yet, and once firefox gets the QT look, thunderbird will be that last piece. (oh wait, I forgot about eclipse and OpenOffice) - Mar 12 2004

I'm running slackware current, with the KDE 3.2 slackware packages.

I put an image here:
http://www.blackcluster.net/SVG-PNG.png

As you can see, the icons are larger with the svg version and the edges don't appear as sharp. - Mar 07 2004
I was hoping for a full PNG release to fix the bug with the kicker icons. I tried 2.6 with kde 3.2 and the icons sill look too funny. I'm I the only one that has this problem? - Mar 07 2004

Wow, this has got to be the first time since Crytal that I have ever seen so many positive replies without a single negitive one.

Honestly, when I asked if you ever considered making an icon set, I figured it would be months before we ever got to see any previews... You must really love this stuff, that's great to see. This is begining to look like a very promising icon set, thanks for all your work. - Dec 06 2003

I have got to say flow, you have to be one of the most promising graphics artists I have come across in a while. This is exactly the kind of theming I invision when I picture the future of KDE and QT. I much prefer this style of art over your puesdo-realism of previous posts. You might consider developing a set of SVG icons.

Thanks for the work, and good luck to you. - Nov 26 2003

Yeah, I really would like to use this theme to monitor my ftp traffic, thanks for starting this project....

Unforunately however, it doesn't work for me either.

As posted before me, you're code for the dialog box in the config menu is a bit off. Check out line 131, this is where you problem is:

command = ["kdialog", "--title", "Select the log file to view", "--getopenfilename", "/var/log"]

There is no option "getopenfilename". At least not in kde 3.1.4

After changing this line though, the theme still doesn't work properly. I'll look over the code some more, see what I can find. Of course I know this is only version 0.1, but I like the idea so far. Hope you get it working perfect so I can use it.

Thanks

I'm having trouble resizing the topbar of this theme to 1280. Would someone be able to give me a hand with this.

This is probably one of the best themes I have seen to date. Keep up the great work! - Jun 14 2003

Would you able to send (email) your code perl script to me? My attempt at changing my script to display celcius was uneventful. Thanks for the help. - May 04 2003
Is there a way to convert the measurements to metric in any way other than changing the code (I'm not familiar with perl) to make a mathematical conversion?

Thanks - Apr 29 2003

How would I go about running karamba at a higher screen resolution? I'm running 1280x1056 (I think that's what it is at least) which isn't listed as one of the themes. At the highest setting right now, the top bar only covers about 75% of the screen and the Calender doesn't line up with the translucent box behind it.

Thanks. - Apr 25 2003

I am also having the configure file drop out with this message:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

I know I have everything I need (qt-3.1.1-6) but it nor I can point it to where it is. I'm running RedHat 9 and when I attempted:
./configure-with-qt-include=/usr/include/qt3 -with-qt-dir=/usr/share/qt3-with-qt-lib=/usr/lib/qt3 it still dropped out.

Is there anyone that might be able to help? - Apr 25 2003
