I have never used ClamAV and I haven't even heard of it until now but it looks better than their original icon/logo. - Jan 06 2005

You could hold the place your mouse over the window you want to move, press and hold the "alt" key, then click and drag the window to whatever location it is you want it. Just a thought. - Jan 06 2005

I think you should add the word "usenet" or "news reader" in parenthesis in the title of this app to make it easier to find for those who are simply trying to locate a Usenet reader other than Pan or Knode. I was lucky to find this on but I would have never found it on w/out knowing the name of the project itself.

Yeah I enabled the sidebar, it's kinda neat... i disabled the rubberband effects in kcontrol and my problem in that area is now fixed. Before I did this, I tried to enable the RenderAccel option in xorg.conf but it didn't help, or maybe i just didn't wrong... anyway, I'm no longer having seriously annoying problems!

Thanks! - Dec 16 2004
I looked at the README file and it says the exact same stuff as the "Description" of "kde improvements" on I don't see anything about how to disable the patches. - Dec 14 2004
I will probably end up completely reinstalling Slackware... I will admit the ideas are good, but like you said... the need to be more easily configurable. - Dec 14 2004
How can I remove these settings/effects after installed? I am using Slackware 10 (current) and got the slackware pkg.. The main issue I have is when you click to drag a box it looks REALLY REALLY choppy and traces of it are left behind. I hate it! - Dec 13 2004

I agree that the small icons don't look so great. I also think it kinda looks like the wolf is howling out of torture or something from the sound. Is amaroK torture? - Dec 11 2004

Maybe you could look at the code for all of the OSX dock bars that have "smooth zoom" and base your antialiasing around that idea, probably the same or similar concept. - Jun 04 2004

Sure can, I have been planning to make a smaller one. Production for this them will pick up as I have installed VMware and I have a shared folder so I can use Adobe Photoshop in it. I have also installed Crossover Office (Wine) and I have installed Adobe Photoshop 7 in there as well, but Photoshop doens't load properly while its sidekick (ImageReady) does. That's why I have turned to VMware for now. I will start making this theme smaller. - May 25 2004
Well, most of the coding for this theme has come from the "Smoothy" theme, I think I still need to fix the mail feature b/c for some reason it is not working for me either. Not every SuperKaramba theme has the "Configure Theme" option enabled, to date LiquidWeather is one of the few themes that "I" have seen that have had the configure theme option. I will be adding that option soon so that when I create new backgrounds it will be easy for everyone to switch to a dif. background by simply going to the configure theme option. - May 23 2004
The main thing that is holding me back from releasing new content faster is that I have not yet been able to get Wine to work. Once I can get Wine to run Photoshop then I will be releasing new backgrounds and themes much faster. If anyone has found a good guide on how to use Wine for Slackware then feel free to let me know.

Thanks! - May 19 2004
I agree with all 3 of those suggestions! Thanks a lot. I do need to get a CPU image, I couldn't find one in the Crystal theme so I may need to make one, or if there is one in the crystal icon set then please let me know so that I made include it in there. I want to make my own set of icons soon, and a flat theme would be very nice. I definately do need to add the swap drive in with the memory as well. Some day............ In the distant future, I plan to code it all myself, but that will be a ways down the road. :-P

Thankyou very much for your suggestions, I will work to get most of those in with the next release. The flat theme may take a little while, but I am pretty good with my artistic ability (even though I didn't show that with that release as I used the crystal icon set) so it shouldn't be too far down the road that you will see the flat theme. And look forward to new backgrounds for the modules as well. - May 18 2004
Yes I agree, that would be very cool. But how could you show how long the computer is running with the clock? Unless you just want that one module to show 2 different things, the real time and the uptime. I don't know how to get the clock to move and show the real time though, maybe I'll look into that. - May 18 2004
Thankyou very much! :)
I am going to make several updates in the future, one thing I need to do is change the look of the status bars, and some other stuff I have mentioned in the "To Do" list. - May 17 2004
This is my very first SuperKaramba theme, I plan I creating more in the future! I hope you all like it! If you have any suggestions or if you would like something added then please let me know. If you have created new backgrounds for the theme then feel free to let me know and I will review them and most likely add them to the theme. I will be creating new backgrounds myself in the future so look forward to those!

LOL yeah I don't see the point in making a wallpaper of what looks to be more suited for a theme. Might become a really great theme so you should think about doing that! :) - May 16 2004
