You can see the full backtrace in this Launchpad report:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kgmailnotifier/+bug/671258

Hello, I am suffering on crashes very often in KDE 4.5. I have obtained a backtrace from kcrash and KGmail notifier is crashing in main.cpp line 44:
KGmailNotifier *kgmailnotifier = new KGmailNotifier();

My operating system is Kubuntu 10.10.
Please take a look at the full backtrace here:
http://pastebin.ca/1980478
- Nov 03 2010
I couldn't reproduce the crash with version 0.5.1.
Tested in KDE 4.3.2 and KDE 4.3.4. Therefore, I consider it as fixed.
Thanks you very much for your rapid attention. - Dec 04 2009
Hello, thanks for your attention.
I am also using kgmailnotifier from Ubuntu packages.
I have reported a Bug against Ubuntu package here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kgmailnotifier/+bug/490813

As you can see, I have attached a backtrace, I hope for it to be useful.
I don't see any way here to attach files, so please, take a look to the backtrace in the bug report.

The debugging method you proposed me (kgmailnotifier --nocrashhandler --nofork > kgnout.txt) is not providing me any useful information.
Please ask me anything you consider. - Dec 01 2009
I am using KDE 4.3.3 from Ubuntu packages.

The logout dialog is wrongly drawn, at least with Desktop Effects disabled.
Take a look to this screeenshot.

I am talking about package xserver-xorg-input-synaptics , i am not sure in what commit or version came the change. I am looking to the sources of the versions 1.2.0 and 1.2.1. - Mar 10 2010
I have confirmed right now that this tapping issue is still present, the only way to enable tapping is by synclient, kcm_touchpad config is ignored.
I think the changes were done around line 437 in ../src/synaptics.c - Mar 09 2010
Please, I insist, how to build kcm_touchpad with full debug support? - Mar 08 2010
Hello, since Xorg-input-synaptics upstream decided disable tapping by default, i cannot use your application to enable tapping in Debian unstable. But the Gnome tool is working perfectly.
The same result is expected for future releases of other distributions unless they decide to patch Xorg-input-synaptics or you update your application with a fix for this. - Mar 08 2010
Please tell me some tip to compile kcm-touchpad with full debug capabilities to get a good backtrace from a crash. - Feb 17 2010
Hello, is Smart Mode supposed to work in 0.3.1 version?
I haven't got it available. - Feb 09 2010
Thanks, compiled and working well by the moment. - Oct 17 2009

I have compiled and installed 0.2.1 sucessfully.
But there isn't any Touchpad module inside systemsettings, i am looking into Keyboard & Mouse section. No way to run and use your software at this moment. - Oct 17 2009

Testing kcmtouchpad in Kubuntu 9.10, installed from jaunty ppa packages.
I obtain this error: Shared memory for synaptics driver is not enabled!
But Shared memory seems to be enabled, here is my config in /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/11-x11-synaptics.fdi
