Sorry I know next to nothing about theming xfce. Maybe you can use window controls (buttons) images from my theme in your xfce theme by converting them to whatever filetype/format xfce uses?

Anyway, about Numix under Gnome Shell - I believe that's by design. If you go into the gtk-3.0 directory, and just rename or remove the "gtk-dark.css" file, and then reload your theme, you will have uniform colors.
It's that some apps (image viewer, video..) call for a dark theme, if there is one.
Under Unity, Numix has real breakage with overlay scrollbars... - Aug 30 2014

Anyway looking forward to see what you come up with.
Btw client side decorations I believe are themed in gtk-widgets.css

Though pretty much broken under Unity..
Anyway I have a dark mod of another theme in my github right now, haven't posted it here. It's called Polar Night.

Also, you could increase the navbar top margin (in line 192) try 2 instead of -2 for instance, and just have more space. But my intention was to reduce the size of the whole addressbar/tabbar system and have more room for browser content, especially on these miserable 16:9 displays. - Jul 16 2014

As for the FF style, in line 130, change 2 to 1 in "-moz-box-ordinal-group: 2"
However then you may wish to also tweak tab borders, padding, colors, etc.. - Jul 16 2014

As you can see
http://i.imgur.com/8rs7mpA.png?1
the breadcrumb borders (Nautilus) look like thin dark lines, I'm pretty sure that's not what the original Gnome Cupertino had, and plus, if you look at the corners, you'll see like little circles..? I'm pretty sure this is not rendering properly for some reason.
Thanks. - Jun 29 2014

The original theme did not have them. Is that on purpose? And how would I get rid of it?
Thanks.

the colors and fonts settings in kopete options fixed my problem, thanks for the tip!
the question about telepathy still stands though. - Dec 03 2012

Kopete Styles by rbarillec 6 comments
the thing is, and i explored the code before i asked, i can set the color of the text of the message *i* am sending in .message (color...)
that works
color specified in .incoming and .outgoing relates to the color of nicknames, not the text of the message itself
but i can’t figure out how to change the color of the text of the incoming message (that’s also not solved with the variant).
it’s always very dark, #000 i’d say. that’s not the default colorscheme for fonts on my system either, i don’t know where that’s drawn from. with the rest of the theme so subtle in colors i wanted to change that..
also, do you think it would be possible to use this theme with telepathy? - Dec 03 2012

Second, I run it on KDE 4.9.3 and it works fine. I didn't remove the Kwin titlebar as it's useful to drag and move windows, but i did remove the label text, have some issues with rendering under Emerald. All in all this is very useful in that scenario, especially with the application name option. Great that the font color can be configured, and that there's the "plain" style included. I guess I wish there could be shadows for text, to be consistent with the menubar widget and/or plasma theme text style, but that's minor.
One more thing - i first tried installing this via the destkop, add widgets>download... however no dice. It said it installed, but it wasn't available on the system. Compiled it from source though. - Nov 10 2012

i have a few petty objections though :D the raised gradient-looking thing on tabs, it seems out of character with the rest of the theme. i'd prefer it all flat. a notebook style might be in order to better define gedit tabs and such. and foreground is not visible in progress bars, but then again that's likely a feature ;) however all these are easy to fix/tweak, which is what i'll do.
thanks for sharing your work, overall i like it very much. - Jun 25 2011

Yes, sir, I believe most of us do :)
Also very thoughtful of you to make both dark and light menu versions.
Overall a fine theme.
