Great project! I tried doing this once by tinkering with an application specific window settings in kontrol center. It would drop down (unshade) when the mouse reached the upper most part of the screen. But it was really annoying, always popping down when i didnt want it. Yours is much better! - Oct 01 2005

Keep making this set! It has a lot of potential. As soon as it is complete, I would make it my default. Great job so far! - Oct 21 2004

This is the best dock ive ever used! And it works with kde 3.3 just fine. Easy to configure, Auto-hiding, stable. I would recommend everyone to try it if you haven't already. - Oct 20 2004

Please, kde-look admins if you are reading this, don't stop people from posting stuff like this, just if there is nudity, censor the pre-views. I tend to like stuff like this, but don't think that children should see it by accident. - Oct 19 2004

The idea is once you take linux, you will then be able to cure your computer with fdisk and mkfs.

Who cares. Replace it with another one if you don't like it. I think the icon set is perfect (I did replace the C: prompt icon with a bash prompt icon however.) - Aug 11 2004

I use it because it is simple, small and easy to stash away in an unused portion of my desktop. How about making a net monitor and a hard disk monitor? - Aug 11 2004

This is the best docker i have used. I do however have one request. Please make it so that it stays transparent when the wallpaper changes. I have my wallpaper set to change every minute and ksmoothdock has to be restarted because it contains part of the old wallpaper in it's transparent part (behind the icons) when the wallpaper changes. I have been using kxdocker because it stays transparent, but I dont like it near as much as ksmoothdock. I wish I had more programming experience because I would try to contribute, instead of gripe! - Aug 09 2004
