MrGwen Thnx. Since I consider myself still a n00b where Linux is concerned, how should I compile this in order to get sound? I know that with GP4 whenever u put in notes or if u played it back there should be sound. So how do I acomplish this with KGuitar? - Mar 24 2005

Hi when I try to install the libs for ksquirrel with kpackage I get error: Failed dependencies:

Now when I built it from source last time I had a compile error and that was solved by installing some developement files for something.. I guess I m missing them now as well as I had to do a fresh install of my OS (Mandrake based PCLinuxOS), but I forgot the developement package I had to install. Can you tall me what it was? Or maybe another way to solve this problem?

TIA. - Feb 25 2005

Security by hoganrobert 150 comments

Ok, I run PCLinuxOS preview8 with KDE 3.3.2 and when I first installed this program it was version 0.91. It then installed fine with the Dazuko module.

After an upgrade to version 0.94 all of a sudden the dazuko module didnt want to install anymore. It was complaining it needed security features enabled in the kernel (2.6.7). But I guess that feature had to be enabled in the first place cuz I could install Dazuko the first time.

I tried to install a standalone version of dazuko but I got the same msg while I didn't do anything to the kernel (no kernel upgrades, no recompile, nothing)

Any ideas about this? - Feb 07 2005

As we don't live in a Victorian age any more, people who get offended by a set of breasts should just not download it and get a little more open minded. Why is it ok to watch breasts at anatomy or biologie in school but not when posted on a website. If it was hardcore I would agree maybe, but come on (!!!) it's just a pair of breasts! And beautifull ones at that. Great splashscreen! I like beautifull things and she certainly is. - Jan 23 2005

Thnx. But I got the right tar file now with an actual directory in it. This I could see by opening it with Winrar (yes I do work in XP too sometimes ;)) and see a yellow map. The first tar I downloaded from this site (the other one I got directly from the source website instead of KDE-Apps.org) had no yellow map. It was not recognized at all by Winrar. I could open it though with the view option and all I saw was a lotta code. So what I think (I could be wrong ofcuz being a n00b ;)) is that it was some sort of a cvs file inside a tar or sth. Anyway.. the prob is solved now. Thnx for the reply though. It's much appreciated. :) - Jul 20 2004

Hi, I downloaded the tar file but as a linux n00b I have to ask.. how do I install this?

Or do I just have to type in a console ./kasablancaftp-0.4 ??? - Jul 18 2004
