Plasma Color Schemes
QtCurve
test
Yes, I have them both and everything works fine. Now I just wish I had more time to make my own theme :)

Nevermind, solved. I'm using ArchLinux packages. I had installed kvantum-tools-qt4-svn instead of kvantum-tools-qt5-svn.
As soon as I installed the right tools package Kvantum appeared into Plasma 5 systemsettings.

How should I enable Kvantum from plasma 5 (5.2)? In systemsettings -> application style -> widgets style there is no Kvantum.
Am I doing something wrong or Kvantum is not (yet) integrated with systemsetting from Plasma 5?
Many thanks for your work :) - Feb 08 2015

Hi, thank you for developing a Qt5 theme.
I just installed everything in a Plasma 5.2 system. I see no configuration GUI or windows decoration. Could you please confirm that this not an installation mistake on my part and that these things have not yet been developed? - Feb 07 2015

Hi, thanks for the skin. What do you think about raising the "Shell" a bit? As it is now, if your shell has a name with a "p", or "g" or "j" inside, you can't actually see the part below the baseline because the text is very near to the bottom border.
Maybe you could consider raising or centering vertically. - Oct 20 2014

If I disable tiling in desktop A, then switch to desktop B and then again to A, desktop A has tiling enabled again. Is this normal?

Do you plan to port the dark version of the Plasma 5 theme too?
- Aug 07 2014
Hi, sorry for the OT, what font are you using in the screenshots?
- Apr 20 2014
you may try with "appows" (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=156809), but any dark theme with white text should show the same issue.
As you say, The white-white is most visible in dates from the packages tab.

would it be possible to let the plasmoid follow the plasma theme style?
In some case text is not readable because the plasma theme set the text to white while the background color stays with the hardcoded gradient, so you have white text on white background.
This can be solved if you remove your custom backaground and let the plasmoid use the default background taken from the plasma theme. - Jul 27 2013

The menubar color is wrong only in two apps? Then maybe some you have some customization specific to kate and krusader? I don't use krusader, but here kate works as expected: http://www.imagebanana.com/view/up5fj46o/snapkate.png
Also systemsettings works fine here as you can see in the screenshot. Could you please post a screenshot of your systemsettings -> application appearance -> colors -> colors? Please let the window be big so that I can see if the color scheme has been installed succesfully.
About the firefox startpage, the one in the screenshot is a custom one installed with the sytlish extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/stylish/). After you installed it, go to userstyles.org and search for dark styles, you'll find lots of them.
For the text problem, unfortunately dark color schemes are not well supported in many websites/firefox and workarounds are not always available. You need to customize the website appearance using a stylish style (or creating your own). There is also an extension for firefox that lets you change the color of specific parts of web pages (https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/color-that-site/) But it doesn't always work.

install this: http://oxygenkde.altervista.org/index.html
then in the Oxygen KDE options set the appmenu button style to 1 (which is also the dafault)
If you use the menubar palsmoid (like in my screenshot) you should disable the firefox-menubar integration, otherwise the appmenu button will be hidden. - Mar 12 2013

hi, I'm assuming you're the dev of the window list plasmoid included in KDE SC :)
I will tell you about my usecase and why I like the QML Plasmoid more. I use icontasks as my main taskmanager, which has the big drawback that tasks are always grouped. Sometimes I need to see the list of all tasks ungrouped (for example when I have something like 20 pdfs open) so I also keep a windowlist plasmoid in my main panel. The QML plasmoid has two advantages:
1) you can type text to search
2) when you rightclick on a task and then close it, the dialog does not close automatically but stays open, so that you can, e. g. close a lot of unneeded files without having to click everytime on the icon to show the dialog - Jan 15 2013

awesome work, thank you very much, I've already replaced the non-QML plasmoid.

hello,
if you set the plasmoid to show time+date and if the panel is small enough, the date does not scale properly and moves to the side of the time. Explanatory screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/LbsRg.jpg
on the left you see the standard digital clock plasmoid while your plasmoid is on the right.

Hi,
would it be possible to list the files attached to a task in the dialog window that opens when you click the task?
Maybe under the description box, or anywhere else...
Would this be difficult to implement? - Nov 11 2012

you should probalby ask to someone who knows how to theme GTK to make a theme similar to this, I have no idea how GTK work :)
- Oct 14 2012
what you called the "script page" is actually the style itself. You need to save the text to a file and call it blackstone.bespin.
Anyway, it works on bespin only, which afaik is a kde only engine theme. - Oct 13 2012

First, save the theme in a file called "themename.bespin".
Then you must install the bespin theme engine: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=63928
after that, go to systemsettings > application appearance and chose Bespin as your widget style.
Then click on "configure" and the Bespin configuration window will open up.
Go to presets, click import and select the theme file you downloaded from this page.
Click load and the theme will be applied.

everything is fine now except headers, that does still not take the black.

so my issues are:
-progress bar
-header
-tab
-slider
all with stone gradient
simply put: i want an all black stoned theme :D
Anyway, i tried magic similar to that you taught me before but it didn't work, things like bespin Tab.MinValue=10, etc.
Is there something similar to Bg.MinValue for other components? Thanks - Jul 07 2012

looks like the same limitation applies to tabs and headers coloring, am I right?
I mean, even i set the window color as black, and then use window color for coloring tabs and headers, the color is not black but some kind of gray.
Is there a command to address tabs and headers too? - Jul 07 2012

hi,
if I set black as window color and then choose tiled, vertical or horizontal gradient for window background, the window color is automatically set to #464646 instead of black.
I believe this happens not only for black but for all color darker then #464646. Am I doing something wrong? - Jul 06 2012

i have two activities (A and B) and two virtual desktops (D1 and D2) which makes a total of 4 combinations: AD1, AD2, BD1, BD2.
What i want to accomplish is this: if I open a chromium istance in AD1, the task should be shown as active only in AD1. So i checked all the "only show tasks from..."
Instead, i got this: if i look at AD1, the task is active, if i look at AD2, the task in not active (as expected), if i look at BD1 the task is active (this is not expected).
So, it seems that the "only show tasks from the current activity" option does not work, because tasks launched from an activity are shown as active in any other activity.
To reproduce: add an activity, launch a task from a launcher in the new activity, go back to the first activity and see that the launcher is marked as active also there.
