I love this wallpaper, but it does lack in quality somewhat. Where did you find the original wallpaper? Maybe there's a higher resolution version available?

Good job on the clock, however I disagree with the "Vista Like" title. This clock reminds me of Cairo Clock that has been around longer than Vista. It's a beautiful clock, don't mess it up by putting Vista anything in the name. Just had to voice my opinion.

I'm no Linux guru, but everyone must start somewhere. And, at the beginning is normally the best place. So I think the job you did on this one is good. I would keep experimenting with the look of it and perhaps come up with whatever you like best. I've seen themes which IMO are nothing more than re-colors of the default theme. Yours has substance and there is some real talent here.

Keep up the good work, and never stop trying. No matter what anyone says.

This is most awesome. I normally don't use the kbfx menu at all even though I use kbfx, it lacks usability in my opinion. This, however, makes it all worthwhile for me. Such a simple, intelligent layout - everything is right there where I would expect it to be. Besides that, it's beautiful! Thank you so much for a job well done.

Imitation is the purest form of flattery. I can just see Steve Balmer greedily rubbing his hands together as he sais "we've got them right where we want them".

I too, like gimmie - it's original, and not based on another operating system.

Something like this might be good for someone who's switching over from vista, but why not use KDE with the kickstart menu?

I've used "Gimmie" with Compiz-Fusion and it looks good and works good. I personally don't like the look of anything related to windoze "vista" myself - I'll save that for my windows drive. I can see however that if your used to windows and can't live without it, then making Linux resemble it would be the next best thing.

First of all you have to have beryl installed, then you go into beryl-settings-manager and change the setting desktop cube-> transparency settings and change the 'Opacity when not moving' slider. - Jul 20 2007

Icons set looks beautiful and the d/l link works fine albeit very slow. Will take me about 2 hours to download. If you want a good host, try filefactory, or badongo. But excelent work all the same

I've noticed that windeco is shared a lot by many community vendors and even sold by some. Take StyleXP for windows, you can change your windows decoration to default kde style in windows. Plus a plethora of other types. - Feb 11 2007
