This may be common knowledge to some, but I used this usplash on hardy, and it worked great, but wouldn't work at all on Intrepid. All I had to do was recompile it from source, though, and the new .so file worked just fine with the instructions given. The only trick that I ran into was, I didn't know about libusplash-dev. If you upgrade to Intrepid, and you need to compile this from source, make sure you get that library from Synaptic or apt-get. - Oct 26 2008

Definitely unique, but I would like to see the corners of the buttons rounded off a little. Just my opinion, of course, but I think the items you have with rounded corners have a more polished, professional look to them. - Aug 28 2008
