Worked fine however I changed the version check to 3,2,91 as thats kde-config reports itself as.

KDE: 3.2.91 (3.3 beta1)

It is the latest cvs though. - Jul 11 2004

Is Knemo able to be built against the kde cvs ? It seems to be broken atm. Wether its simply something else on my system thats broken or its just that im using kdecvs i dont know.

Sorry shoulda included some extra details bout what im compiling with.

gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/3.3.1/specs
Configured with: ../src/configure -v --enable-languages=c,c++,java,f77,pascal,objc,ada,treelang --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++/3.3 --enable-shared --with-system-zlib --enable-nls --without-included-gettext --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-debug --enable-java-gc=boehm --enable-java-awt=xlib --enable-objc-gc i386-linux
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3.1 20030728 (Debian prerelease)

kde-config --version
Qt: 3.1.1
KDE: 3.1.90 (CVS >= 20030731)
kde-config: 1.0

Im running Debian sid on an athlon xp 1800+ apt updated this morning. As you can see im also running KDE CVS which could also be causing problems.

Any help would be great - Aug 04 2003

Im getting errors whilst trying to compile and it just drops out. Any ideas ? Its happening with a few kde/qt things latley and im thinking its a broken QT which wouldnt suprise me. But any idea on pinpointing it would be great.

Thanx

try ftp://ftp.planetmirror.com/pub/mandrake/9.1/SRPMS/
i can only find the source rpm, i alien'd it then unpacked it with dpkg-deb. Is there an easier way to unpack the src.rpm ?? and no doing an alien on the binary rpm and using it doesnt work either. - Apr 08 2003

ive yet to make it compile under debian though, doesnt help when it links against mandrake stuff which we cant get. its all well and good to have mandrake looking brilliant but i dont like rpm based distros, why cant we just get a tar.gz or something which will compile for the rest of us. the gtk 1/2 + metacity stuff compiles however the kde side just has errors. - Apr 08 2003
