When I try to upgrade port without portupgrade presence in system, I have a "information windows" storm - KPorts generated window with messge "portupgrade not found, use Konsole button to see unfiltered output" in endless loop. - Mar 19 2007
I have just finished compile and install 0.6.1 on 6.1-RELEASE. But, ports tree contains 0.6.0 version, marked as "BROKEN". Will you send a PR to update FreeBSD port up to 0.6.1? - Dec 01 2006
Nice tool. I have searched a very long time a tool to do this (KBarry and KPackage are SUXX!). But could you please add 'make package' action to produce package from installed port (like pkg_create -b port_name)? - Aug 05 2005
KPorts distribution missed some files? I have just tried to compile KPorts on FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE, but failed with:

At least can you make different controls for preview and normal browsing? When I setup preview window to "Fit to window" I take also "Fit to window" in browser, but I don't need expanded picture at all screen in browser, but need fit to windowed picture in small preview window! Till 1.0.x I constanlty ask this feature, but nor you, nor ShowImg author didn't implement it :- - Dec 11 2006

YESS! FreeBSD has not any errors when build KChm 0.3.2. Also great extension with interface features :-) But icon and .desktop file for kchm binary still missed...
Excellent work. Keep it with this speed. KDE really need this app. - Mar 17 2005
I have noticed, when I creating FreeBSD port, that kchm creates two subdirs in /share/apps - share/apps/kchm and share/apps/chmnew. Is it normal or misorder? - Mar 16 2005
O,yes, really rapid reaction on bug report :-) I have compiled quite without problems, __LITTLE_ENDIAN was undefined at two times. I suppose this patch to solve problems:

All another are OK. A some wishlist:
1. An icon and menu entry ( I think, in "Utilites" category)

2. "Open file" on toolbar

3. When file was opened, auto-expand first level of content (or make a preference - start expanded / start collapsed)

Please keep your work! It is very needful! - Mar 16 2005
Please, detect OS, because FreeBSD has not __BYTE_ORDER and similar, but has BYTE_ORDER instead. - Mar 15 2005
O, YESSS! At least! It's a cool! It's a super-cool! It's a super-puper-mega-bla-bla-bla cool! :-) I have so many really good books in .CHM format. Now I haven't more need M$ to read it! Some warnings about compilation under FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE (KDE 3.3.2, QT 3.3.4):
1. FreeBSD has not __off64_t, please place it inside CHM_USE_IO64 #ifdef's
2. FreeBSD has not pread64 (and any other similar, i.e. lseek64), please detect OS or switch off CHM_USE_IO64 by default.
3. Viewer binary file has name chm, not kchm, as expected :-)

Please, keep this project actual! It is really VERY useful program! (So many exclamations...:-) I simply excited - so, my dreams are in real now...). I'll make FreeBSD port for it. - Mar 15 2005

Please, throw out previous message - I'm stupid boy :-) KNemo was compiled and installed. But under FreeBSD in is completely useless, because it shows "interface does not exist" when interface exist :-) I think, KNemo tries to detect network card presence through /proc, which under FreeBSD completely differs from Linux... - Aug 25 2004

As I have mailed, problem was solved when I have used autoconf 2.59 instead of 2.53 to regenerate configure. I have looked on - COOL! Simplicity and powerful from MS Paint and feautre-rich as true KDE app. - May 06 2004
Configure fails to run with:
.....
checking if f77 supports -c -o file.o... yes
checking whether the f77 linker (/usr/libexec/elf/ld) supports shared libraries... yes
checking dynamic linker characteristics... freebsd4.9 ld.so
checking how to hardcode library paths into programs... immediate
checking whether stripping libraries is possible... yes
configure: error: tag name "CXX" already exists

Is there any prerequisites to autoconf/automake/libtool? Now I use autoconf 2.53, automake 1.5 and libtool 1.5a.

I have just try ShowImg 0.9.1. Well, ugly bug with nonworking "Previous Image" fixed. Mostly closed to ACD See and cool program. But, some bugs still presented:

1. When I don't use AutoZoom and press Zoom In, than "Next Image" and "Lock Zoom", next image will shown without locking zoom and previous image still will be visible (when next image small)

2. Folders in folder tree shouldn't have "Type" column or it should be switchable.

3. Previews in Preview pane should be auto-fit in window indepedently from fullscreen settings.

4. Mostly ugly bug - when folder has name like "#1" (I have quite big collection with folders #1, #2, etc.), all their contents qualified AS FOLDERS! But there are images, and preview pane show it, when pressed. - Mar 10 2004
