Full Icon Themes by yoshu 2 comments

Nice, I like the big arrows.

One thing that bothers me are themes that look crap at 16x16 (especially arrow icons, that are barely visible).

Please, please consider making the arrows as usable & beatiful at 16x16 as possible. (I know its a lot of work). - Jan 10 2007

KDE 3.5 Themes by morgenrot 404 comments

"same-width" means something like this

if( width < 60 )
// set minimum width for buttons
width = 60 ;
// make buttons width multiple of 20px
width = ((width+19)/20) * 20 ;

Great to hear about the border stuff will try ASAP.

Thank You! - Jan 10 2007

Best theme for KDE!

This should be included by default in KDE (maybe even the next default theme).

One wish, please add an config option for
having "same-width" buttons.
(I hacked it up myself, but for the non-coders here:)

Is it possible to make the tool-buttons border just a bit thiner? (or maybe even configurable...?)

Anyway, my default since a very long time.
Keep up the good work. - Jan 09 2007

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by chuliomartinez 9 comments

I never thought that so many people would be interested in this. There were already 3 bug reports similar to this, right now with more than 300 votes.

If somebody could do a mocup I would gladly put it here.

I mean this really shows the power of opensource, go write email to ms for this feature:) - Feb 09 2005

Fileselector with meta-data

Desktop Concepts by Superstoned 10 comments

Maybe the a daemon could be running an watching changes to ~/docs and updating metadata on-the-fly? I know its ms indexing service way, but works, and the user can use any editor. For every filetype a "meta-dumper" app would be registered (much the same way as "open with" works) and off you go. Sure apps that care could call it directly, thus producing meta-data right after save, those which don't would be handled by the daemon. - Dec 25 2004
