It is just that I think you should have at least mentioned it in the description. This way I was hoping this theme was using GTK's rgba capabilities, which is a better way to do it, IMO, because Compiz makes transparent everyhing, even the text (which is highly undesirable), and the window borders (Metacity theme), which in case of this theme are already transparent, so the Compiz transparency effect makes it even more so. This makes the Metacity theme always more transparent than the rest of the window is, while I wanted to have it matched. - Jan 12 2015

I am using Ubuntu Utopic with Unity.
You should add instructions if more than standard user-action is needed... - Jan 10 2015

The only thing that bothers me now is the lack of the dark variant, at least in the Ubuntu packages... But I prefer the light one, anyway.
Once again, thank you! - Jun 11 2014

I guess they changed something around those Metacity themes in Unity in Trusty, to make them able to host menus and other fancy stuff... But something gain -- something lose: this is the second theme I tried that just doesn't apply, and I still haven't find a way to make the decorations transparent... :-/
Anyway, I am really happy and grateful for seeing there is work done to update this great theme. Keep it up! :-)
And, if you have time and knowledge, it would be great to see the Metacity theme fixed in Unity. ;-) - Jun 03 2014

On the other hand, this is an issue that should be addressed in the theme (or FF) code, for better integration. - May 22 2014

You have to install 4 packages to get the whole functional set, and then you get to actually select some Faba icon theme (not even mentioned on this page!) to get the correct panel icons, at least in Unity, which is totally counter-intuitive.
Not to mention gtk-update-icon-cache-3.0 complaining about not being able to cache /usr/share/icons/Moka at installation time... - Jan 09 2014

You say it was meant for UE, anyway. Does it mean UE users don't use LO very much?
But as I already said I DO like how the theme looks like, both gtk and icons. It is just that the icon theme doesn't really look complete on my desktop. And I am not talking about some weird unknown apps here... - Jan 03 2014

The problem is, when I go to edit a workspace name (middle-click on root window > Edit current workspace name) the dialog just ignores šđčćž characters, although the layout seems to be right, as all other chars are placed as expected and work normally.
I guess it is a Fluxbox bug. I was just wondering if you knew a workaround or something, but I guess you got that "Delovna površina" by default. Thanks for the answer, anyway. :-) - Jun 25 2013

The different versions of the Gnome base we use could explain the glitches on buttons and overlay scrollbars. But I don't know how it comes that you have Precise with Gnome 3.2... - Jun 05 2012
And there is also one other issue, I forgot to mention before... The slected/suggested buttons are too white, so it becomes inconsistant with the rest of the looks, and the tekst becomes unreadable.
What version of Ubuntu and Gnome are you using? - Jun 05 2012

I don't know if SkysOfAzel cares about supporting Unity for his themes, but I heard that in Oneiric Unity will be more customizable than it is now. So hopefully, we will be able to do it in Oneiric. Until then, I don't know... - Jun 14 2011

But today I went back to Unity, as the gnome3-team PPA version of Gnome 3 on Ubuntu happened to be even more unstable than Unity... And this is a production machine I am using. Well, the "production" I am talking about is mostly about writing, reading and web browsing then anything else... (I am a literature sudent) But still I need a system reliable enough for that.
Anyway, in the end, I like what Gnome 3 is becoming. I was VERY sceptical in the beginning. So I guess I will be keeping an eye on Gnome 3 and probably give it another shot in a month or two. :-)
Cheers, and good luck with your themes! - May 11 2011

It is not Metacity, but Compiz (with gtk-window-decorator) that loses ALL controls over the shaded window. In Metacity the shaded window just looks very weird... - Nov 18 2010

After all, don't you find your attitude to be anti-christian? Take a look at Matthew 7:1-5 or John 12:37, for instance.
And chill down and take a laugh once a while. Even Jesus laughed and made jokes in the gospels. :-)
So, talking about jokes about Nietzche, there is another famous and more philosophic one:
"God is dead."
F. Nietzche
"Nietzche is dead."
God
:-D
I wish you both well, guys! :-) - Aug 23 2010

Yes, but it changes only the logo at the main menu. The spinner in Nautilus remains with the Windows logo, the icon next to About Gnome and About Ubuntu is a Windows logo, too. The Icon next to the Office submenu is the logo of MS Office, which is shown also on the splash screen for OpenOffice... and so on. Oh, yes, the wallpapers, too...
I would really like to see all those MS logos removed. I mean, you can keep the Windowsish look and feel to help migrations even without advertizing it. But then again, you said you were not a designer, and neither am I... So, if I find a matching icon set (like 7's but no logos), I will return here and suggest it to you to include it in the pack. Then you do whatever you like. :-)
Right now, I replaced the icons with an 8-bit Super Mario icon theme, added an adequate wallpaper, and the effect is pretty cool. :-D - Apr 01 2010

The theme itself is quite nice, especially if you like the look of Win7, but I think there is too much Windows and MS Office logos around. Ever thought of replacing them with, Gnome/OpenOffice logos? Distro logos would be nice, too, but there is too much distros to make everyone happy, so a Gnome logo instead of the windows one, on the throbber and on every icon where it appears would be just pretty enough.
Otherwise, it is technically a nice implemented theme. Ever thought of doing some original theme packs, not just clones? - Apr 01 2010
