And thanks for the nice coment. I know its very similar to the Marbles set, but I like these a bit better. And I thought they deserved to be seen and used (which was hard to do in KDE without a theme like this one). - Jun 24 2003

Thanks! My theme is a combination of the good ol' Keramik style and 20.1oz IceWM window decoration. Both I think you can get here (and Keramik is standard in KDE 3.1) The wallpaper is MegaTokyo, I got that here: http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~tosberg/wallpaper/wallpapers.html

Kmix Systray-Icons Replacement

I like this alot. It much better than the default one. Also, Im not sure if its the same on other distros (I use SuSE), but I think if you put the files in "/home/*user*/.kde/share/apps/kmix/pics" it is better. That way you only change your own, and other users can have their own if they want.

P.S. You might have to create the "kmix" and "pics" folders. Thats what I did. :D - Jun 17 2003

Yes, I know that one. The Marble icons have the same unfortunate problem. I think thats why Markus only made 48 and 32. That is probably what Ill do. That way, you can have whatever icons you want for below that. And as for the icons you have done. Thank you very much, but I am nearly finished. I already have all of them at 48. All I need is 32x32 versions. - Jun 16 2003

I understand what you mean. But I dont think adding it to the Marble set would be good, since this is not my set. Im just taking the Gentoo set and making it in the for of a KDE set. - Jun 16 2003

Its a bit different. The main things different are the shadows and that all the marbles are the same color. (greyish-blue) - Jun 16 2003

I REALLY like this set! Please dont change the green! Green is actually my favorite color, and this shade of green works really great with Icons I think. I would LOVE a full set! - Jun 11 2003

to make KDE look like XP. I think these icons are for WindowsXP guys. I think their purpose is to make the XP icons look like chrystal, and thus make XP look more like KDE. - Mar 04 2003

There you go. Just click on the second screenshot. I always save my work as an xpm with all the layers intact, so its usually not hard for me to make any changes people want. - Feb 28 2003

It kinda reminds me of SuSE. I think it could be a cool alternative wallpaper for those SuSE fans (like myself) who dont always want the same iguana pictures on their desktop. - Feb 26 2003

This one gets a goof vote from me. Though if I had to make one suggestion, it would be to make the "Share the source" text blend in with the background a bit more. Kinda looks just pasted on there.

And how do I display my system stats on my desktop like that? Thats kinda cool. - Feb 25 2003

Thanks! Its not a theme actually, I just used an icon package that I found here, and changed my kicker background to a different one that came with my distro. - Feb 20 2003
