here's what i get from stderr with ./configure:
/bin/sh: /home/karsten/downloads/gnome: No such file or directory (i think that's just a path remmnant from doing a jhbuild)
configure: WARNING: `missing' script is too old or missing

cat: /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*.conf: No such file or directory

from make;
./src/rezlooks_draw.c:109:2: warning: #warning seems to be very slow in scrollbar_stepper

and from make install there was nothing.

i can't get it to display anything other than the default GTK controls.. i'm using SuSE 10.1 x86_64. i tried configuring with prefix=/usr like you suggested..can you give me some other ideas? thanks much. - Jun 17 2006
