As you can see the background is drawn since the engine only expects progress bars to be placed in places with fully visible background. - Aug 23 2010

To fix this, add the following two lines to your menubar.rc just before the pixmap engine settings:
bg_pixmap[NORMAL] = "Menu-Menubar/menubar.png"
bg_pixmap[INSENSITIVE] = "Menu-Menubar/menubar.png" - Jun 07 2008

widget_class "*Tool*GtkToggleButton" style "toolbuttons"
widget_class "*Tool*GtkButton" style "toolbuttons"
to those:
widget_class "*Tool*GtkToggleButton" style "button"
widget_class "*Tool*GtkButton" style "button"
It really looks much better this way, IMO. - Aug 02 2007

Yeah, it is.
> then that is why I use a gnome-panel instead.
Too bad. I don’t want to use gnome-panel.
> I have problems with xfce4-panel when I use a pixmap background as you can see from your screenshot. You can try xfapplet on a xfce4-panel so that you will be able to use gnome applets.
I don’t use gnome-applets either … - Jul 29 2007

make: Nothing to be done for `all'.
If I look at configure.scan, it tells me to process it with autoconf, but how? Neither just calling it nor calling it with configure.scan as argument does do the trick. - Jan 02 2007

Open the preferred icon (SVG if possible), enlarge the margin to the bottom, copy the icon and turn this copy around 180°. Then put a gradient on that „shadow“ with Transparent as ending color.
There you go. - Nov 03 2006
