Specification:
-all the files that you will need are in the "misc" folder.

Thanks for your contribution!

My deepest thanks for the excellent Yoper set! The whole team likes them a lot. We might include them as the default on our next release. Thanks a bunch.

If you make a Yoper cursor theme like these I can make sure it gets into the next release of Yoper scheduled out soon. Great cursor theme!

Hi,

I liked these cursors and am using them right now. However, it seems to me that the arrows are slightly smaller on the left half than the right half. Is that intended or is it just me?

Yes it is right!
I have worked on the arrow for 3 days and it was difficult to make it how I wanted it to be! The arrow is not symmetric and I don't wanted it to be so! It is hard to do this because you have to consider that when you export it in png you have only 24x24 pixel and it is hard to make it look nice!

Thanks to everyone, I'm happy that you like it!

archive have problems with some symlinks. You have to double check symlinks in unpacked archive.

These cursors are great! I especially like the larger size since I run at 1600x1200 resolution. The cursor tends to get "lost" if I'm moving too fast. Anyway...pGentoo!

I like that...sounds like a battle cry :-)

These are great. I am using them right now. makes me wish FC3 had an icon logo.

The only thing I have noticed is that the link mouse image seems to have some jaggies around the globe. Maybe it's just my screen. (LCD, 1280x1024)

Just copy them to ~/.icons and select the theme in kcontrol. Restart session and finished.

Hmmm, I created .icons/default in my home directory and then copied the cursors directory and index.theme from the cursors/pTux-32 directory of your unpacked archive. Logged out of KDE and logged back in again (which restarted X by the way) and viola... no change??? what haven't I done right?

Log out/in KDE doesn't restart X. Log out, then press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to restart X.

AFAICT, logging out of KDE in Suse restarts X. On my box, I get the nVidia logo displayed before KDM comes back up.

Then my Gentoo behaves differently - X doesn't restart when I logout from kde.

the screenshots force me to download this. :)

I hope they are usable too, I found many nice looking cursors to be rather hard to use (too big, hard to distinguish between different cursor types ...).

Update: They do work very well for daily use. I first thought they might be too big but that's not the case :)
Thanks for these nice cursors.
