THE NEW COLORS OF A NEW ERA ● This is a fork from your reliable Mint-Y-icons theme. It is the standard Linux Mint icon theme now in a new edition with more energized and readable colors. It is the perfect complement to the Mint-Yz GTK theme: https://www.pling.com/p/1408266/. Download the latest for an exact color match between the GTK and the icons.
WARNING: THIS PACKAGE NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. IT IS ALL OKAY FOR LINUX MINT 20. BUT THERE ARE CHANGES TO BE MADE FOR MINT 20.1. PLEASE COME BACK LATER FOR MINT 20.1. You can still try it right now. I am using it right now on Mint 20.1. But it is not certified 100 % standard at this time... This is version 2.5. Please come back here (or on GitHub) and download and install when a new version is available.
This fork from linuxmint/MINT-Y-icons is renamed MINT-YZ-icons and is a separate Debian package. This means you can install it in addition to the standard Mint-Y, compare, experiment, and change your mind at any time. Your good old Mint-Y will not be removed or changed.
INSTALLATION
The OCS-Install is not available here. There is a Debian package to be downloaded instead.
- Go to the Files page or click on the Download button.
- Download the latest mint-yz-icons_x.x-x_all.deb file. (x.x-x = version number)
- Open it and click the [Install Package] button.
- Select your new icons in Menu > Preferences > Themes
