Adapta Colorpack



Modified version of Adapta Theme by Adapta Project
This theme use the ideia of Adapta Colorpack created by Ivankra, the main objective of this theme is the correction of missing things in stock and Ivankra version!

Modifications in relation of Ivanka and stock version


  • Open app indicators have been added to the cinnamon dashboard!
  • The parts were corrected with dark chromium colors, in light themes, such as the close tab button and create a new tab!
  • Some icons of the gtk-2.0, gtk-3.0 and gtk-3.22 interfaces are with selection colors according to the theme!
  • Standardization of white and dark tones in the theme!
  • The color of the selection in cinnamon has a strong tone, in the menu, with selection of favorites, categories and apps, and, in the panel, with the selection of instances of apps!
  • New visual for close button in gtk-3.0, gtk-3.22, metacity and xfwm4!
  • The theme now use the system font(In cinnamon and gnome! Where to use a roboto and sans font, not fonts used throughout the system!)!
  • Correction in the colors of the panel, its buttons and colors in the lougout window, for xfce 4.14!
  • New layout for Popup menus in gnome!
  • Fixed double X button(button for close aplication) in open aplications in activies in Gnome!

Note



For Xfce4 and Mate users, use the eta or nokto-eta versions of themes!

For Xfce 4.14 user, disable the option "Show flat buttons" in window button, in panel!

For MATE users, to have a non-transparent panel, use color #13191C!

I LOVE the purple color scheme and I also love how the theme also has a color scheme for the LightDM Greeter too for XFCE Manjaro! Though it would be even more awesome if there was a Kvantum theme for QT apps on XFCE, other than that, I love this theme! Keep up the good work :D

Also. I installed the theme via Pling Store and can't find the this theme for GNOME Shell in Tweaks app. Why ?

but can it be updated for gnome 3.36 ? theres something odd with the gnome shell menu shadows, and the calendar applet is a disaster

if you manage then you might want to turn this into a more or less official fork of adapta, as the original is unmaintained and will never support gnome 3.36
there are more things wrong with adapta + gnome than the ones i mentioned above though, which is why i uninstalled gnome, and thus cant tell u exactly what the problems are and i only remember the thing about the shadows and the calendar!, oh and the vpn buttons in the network applet arent looking good either, just remembered

I'm going to download some gnome 3.36 distro and check this out, I have an image of the ubuntu focal, but it's from January! I will see this problem of gnome 3.36! I tested it at 3.34 and didn't see a lot of weird stuff!

if you need a gnome 3.36 distro you can try solus, its not 3.36 on the iso but after an update it is

Hey man, I downloaded the Ubuntu 20.04 ISO and tested my theme, the Popup menus were ugly, I deleted the code, put a Pop OS theme code, and adapted it to the colors I use in the theme! After that, I went to test the theme on Ubuntu, I saw that the shell theme is mixed with the Yaru theme, and that is why it gets buggy! I am now making these modifications for all other color options, after that I will go after how to blur the login screen!

Correction of some colors and color tones in the gdm3-Adapta and gdm3-Adapta-Nokto file of the themes! As the new color for the top panel in gnome!
gnome-shell.css file is now a hard link to the gdm3-Adapta and gdm3-Adapta-Nokto files!
The pop-up menus are now bigger, with more height and width!
New permission for theme files! Before, gnome and xfwm4 were not usable for other users!

Fixed theme selection color tones! The colors in rgba were with the same alpha!
Now, based on the original Adapta, and not on the modification made by Ivankra!

Some interface icons gtk-2.0, gtk-3.0 and gtk-3.22 now have the theme selection color, the version with the red icon of the closed window removed, the reason was the non-standardization between applications and the size of the icon was not was expected!
